It's Christmas morning, Hobo Heart and Y/n are waking up, Y/n Basically jumping out of the bed, excited to give Hobo Heart his gifts. Y/n shakes Hobo Heart awake and Hobo Heart wakes up confuse.
"Good morning, my love. Why are you so excited?"
Says Hobo Heart, he's confused as to why Y/n is so happy, y/n sighs, remembering that Hobo Heart isn't exactly aware of any Holliday other than Valentine's Day. Y/n grabs his arm, practically dragging him to the small tree the had decorated a few days ago.
"It's Christmas. On Christmas, people give their loved ones gifts, from homemade cookies to concert tickets! And those colorful boxed under the tree are your presents,"
Y/n explains what Christmas is to Hobo Heart, who's still confused but happy to see Y/n's bright smile. Y/n and hobo heart sit on the floor and Y/n gives Hobo Heart one of the gifts. Hobo Heart feels kinda bad, since he hadn't gotten them anything for Christmas.
"I'm sorry my love, but I had no presents for you"
Y/n chuckles and lays on Hobo Hearts shoulder
"Remember, the gift can be anything, from cuddling to...a night with you, I don't really care"
Hobo Heart blushes before opening the present, it's a necklace with a heart shaped ruby gem, it looks extremely expensive, which just Makes Hobo Heart feel bad since he it was obvious that Y/n had spent a lot of money on him. Hobo heart sighs and turns back to Y/n.
"Darling, you didn't have to get me anything, let alone something so expensive"
Y/n groans, slightly annoyed at Hobo Hearts constant worry and sadness.
"It's fine, it isn't about getting gifts it about giving them, there was a note there too"
Hobo Heart pauses for a moment before grabbing the note and reading it.
"Hello, my love, I wanted to let you know that I love you with all my heart and I would do anything to make you smile, even if it took destroying the world, I love you!"
Hobo Heart blushes, it's short but somehow...possessive and...attractive. When Y/n sees Hobo Heart face, they laugh and softly kiss him.
"You're so cute when you blush like that. Do you like it?"
Hobo Heart gets even more flushed at the kiss and nods, not speaking in case he says something embarrassing.
After a few hours, Hobo Heart finally gets the courage to talk to Y/n again. Yes, they were dating, but it still took a lot to talk to them, they were so sweet and...so goddamn hot, it took so much courage for Hobo Heart to talk to them. Hobo heart goes to the bedroom and lays next to Y/n, and without warning, Y/n wraps their arms around him, like he was a life sized stuffed bear.
"Hello, my love"
They speak in a soft and tired voice, it was obvious they had just woken up from a nap
"Hello, darling...I was thinking, maybe I can take you out for dinner? Maybe just a movie night. Would that be ok?"
Y/n nods, affectionately chewing on Hobo Heart shoulder, not sexually, it was just something they did when they cuddled with him, it was slightly comforting, in an odd way, but comforting. Hobo Heart smiles and gently Kisses Y/n forehead.
"Movie night it is"
It's been hours since that conversation, they've been waiting for it to get dark, it's not a movie night without the dark night. Y/n and Hobo Heart were now cuddling on the couch, a big blanket over their bodies and snacks in Hobo Hearts lap. Y/n was eating M&M's while they were watching the movie, but Hobo Heart wasn't paying attention to the TV, how could he? The love of his life was right next to him, not staring would be like cursing the goddess of wisdom. Y/n notices this and laughs.
"Hobo Heart, pay attention to the TV"
Hobo Heart shakes his head, still gazing at Y/n with affection.
"How could I? I have the most beautiful being right in front of me, and you still expect me to look away at some movie I can watch another time?"
Y/n smiles and cuddles closer to him as Hobo Heart wraps his wings around the, seeing that they're still tired.
"Are you alright? You've been so tired recently, are you sick"
Y/n laughed
"I'm not sick, we've just been...going at it, a lot more than usual, you have a lot of energy"
Hobo Heart blushes, realizing he's the reason for his lover's exhaustion.
"I'm sorry, we'll take a break for a few days, you could've told me to stop, I'm not used to your low stamina yet, don't let me take your energy like that"
Y/n sighs and nods.
"Alright, I'll tell you next time"
Hobo Heart smiles and kisses Y/n before they fall asleep, not long after y/n falls asleep, Hobo Heart goes to sleep as well.
