"Gregor!?" Luxa and Margaret said at the same time.
He stood there staring at Luxa. His mouth hung open like he was in shock. Finally, the rat got tired of it, so he shut Gregor's mouth with his tail.
"Sorry," he said, shaking his head to clear it. He turned to his other friends and waved to them, smiling.
They all ran to him, giving a group hug. Well, Vikus walked as fast as he could, which wasn't really fast. Margaret is surprised he wasn't as healed after all these years. She somehow remembered that he had a stroke, and that he was unable to use his right side. But now, he could walk and was much better at using his right hand. He wasn't all the way better, still.
"Gregor!" Hazard yelled. "What are you doing here?"
"Yes, I agree with Hazard. What are you doing here?" Luxa said quietly," and Hazard! Settle down."
"It is very nice to meet you, Warrior," Bara purred.
Howard gave Gregor a bear hug and asked,"How have you been?"
Vikus smiled at Gregor. He didn't say anything, but Margaret knew they would talk later.
"Hello, Gregor," Aurora said quietly at the same time Nike said,"Hello, Warrior." Temp sat, quietly making clicking noises with Tick.
Gregor looked at them happily and finally turned to Margaret. "I'm glad to see you're alright. Where's Temple?"
"Dulcet is taking care of her," she answered, frowning.
"What's the matter?" He asked, taking a step forward to try and comfort her.
She just stepped back and said,"You have alot of explaining to do." She ignored him and turned to Hazard. "Would you like to take me for a ride on Bara? It would be fun." She smiled at him and he agreed. They climbed on Bara, who flew away after she said bye to everyone.
"Bye, Luxa, Howard, Vikus, Aurora, Nike, Temp and Tick." She didn't say bye to Gregor. She just glared at him. "Oh, and good bye, Rat. Whatever your name is. I'm sorry I forgot."
They finally left as the rat muttered,"My name is Ripred, pup."
Margaret laughed and turned to Hazard, who was sitting backwards on Bara instead of forwards.
"So, where would you like to go?" Hazard asked.
Margaret thought and said, "It would be nice to just fly around. Maybe visit your favorite places in Regalia."
He agreed with this and told Bara where to go, now facing forward on the bat. Margaret was too busy watching everything around her, that when Bara suddenly turned, she fell off.
As she fell, she knew this was different than when she came to the Underland. She noticed that Bara wasn't coming to catch her. Even though she should have been freaking out, she wasn't.
She remembered when she had taken flying lessons as a toddler and that she should trust the bats. She calmed herself down, and waited for someone to catch her.
She flipped herself over and notice that she was yards away from the ground. She flipped over again, waiting for the impact.
Finally, she hit the ground. But it was fuzzy. She rolled over, almost falling off of the bat that had caught her.
"Greetings, Overlander. I am he called Val." The bat spoke.
"Nice to meet you, Val," Margaret said. "I'm so glad you caught me."
"I'm glad I caught you too," Val purred.
She sat up and saw Bara fly over with a worried Hazard on her back. "Boots! Are you alright?"
"Yes. I'm fine. And can you please call me Margaret or Mar? I haven't been called Boots forever."
"Of course," he said. He turned to Val and said,"Thank you for catching her. We didn't even realize she fell off."
"You are welcome," Val answered. "But next time, I think you should pay more attention to our guests, who aren't used to flying."
He sounded angry. "Val. You don't have to be mad at him. It's alright I should have been paying more attention."
"Okay, Overlander. If you say so."
They flew around for a little longer and landed in the High Hall. Only Grevor and Luxa were there.
When Margaret got off of Val, she walked over to Gregor, who was laughing at something that Luxa had said.
"I think it is time you talk to your sister," Luxa said, noticing Margaret standing there. "Boots, how was your ride?"
"Please. Call me Margaret or Mar. And it was fine, until I fell. Val caught me." She pointed to Val, who was standing there.
Gregor cried out. "What's wrong, Gregor?!" Margsret asked. He didn't reply and walked slowly to Val. He layers his head on him crying.
Luxa ran out if the room and came back with Howard. Val looked a bit uncomfortable.
Howard took Gregor away from Val, pulling him out of the room.
When it was quiet it again, Luxa turned to Val and said,"I apologize for the Overlander's behavior."
He bowed his head and said,"It's quite alright, Your Highness." He turned to Margaret and said, "Fly you high, Mar," and flew away.
"I guess I will have to talk to Gregor later. What was that about?" She asked, confused.
Luxa sighed, glancing at Hazard and announced,"I think it is time for you to here the whole story."
