On That Special Day

HARUKA'S POV
On that special day, we made a promise. A promise that we'd stay together forever.. But now..

.. I can't even remember his smile..

~Flashback~
"Haruka!" Some one called out to me. I turned around,

"+++++!" I called. I can't remember his name.

A little boy ran to me. His face was a blur. He handed me a necklace,

"A lock?" I asked. He nodded, and held up a key attached to a chain,

"If we keep these and meet eachother when we get older, we'll always be apart of eachother," he said,

"You mean we'll stick to eachother?!" I asked (Don't judge me, I was 5) and we both laughed.

"No silly!" He said and we played in the field that we were in. There were a lot of flowers. The little boy made a headband made of flowers and put it on my head.

We held hands and lay down on the field,

"I promise, that we'll always be together, and that my love for you will never end.."

~End~

"What?!" I wake up from my dream that I've been having since last week,

"I-It's that dream again," I rested my head on my hand.

I checked my calendar. Today was the first day of school.

I got up, took a quick bath, and got dressed. I went downstairs to see mom making eggs and bacon,

"Haruka! You should've waken up earlier! You're going to be late!" Mother scolded. I grabbed a piece of bacon an put it in my mouth. I went back to my room to get my bag. When I got my bag I caught sight of the necklace that boy gave me on my 5th birthday.

It was a golden lock with a silver chain. I looked at it hesitantly, but I took it anyways. I always wear it, everyday, but I still am hesitant to take it.

As I walked to school, I couldn't help but think of that dream. What does it mean? Why now? I looked at the lock around my neck and gave a sigh.

When I got into class I saw a lot of new and old faces,

"Haru-chan!" Someone called to me. I turned and saw one of my friends Nagisa,

I went up to her and hugged her, "Nagi! I missed you!" I said, and she hugged back, "Same here,"

We untangled ourselves and started to find out seats. I went up to the chalkboard and found the seating chart,

"Ah! We're in row 4!" I said, "[Nagisa Yamamoto] [Takeshi Amano] [Haruka Shitomi] [Keita Otoshi]" I read aloud.

I stopped and looked back at the name Keita,

"Why does that name sound so familiar?"

Hey guys! Let me just say, I'm on a roll here. I keep having ideas for new stories and I keep writing them down and publishing them XDD anyways, Another story to stress about XD Thats kinda it for now! Baaii!!
