Christians Point of View
I jumped as the alarm went off. The blood running down my arm, damn, I'm running late. I wiped the blood off and flung my razor into the sink, i knew my Mom wouldn't come in here, my en suite so it was safe to leave everything as it was. I hurriedly pulled my massive sweater over my head, the mass of material covering me, my arms hidden well inside the folds of the jumpers sleeves.
I pulled my jeans on, grabbed my bag and ran down stairs.
"Christian, have you had breakfast?" I heard my Mom ask.
"No mom! I gotta run! Im late as it is."
"Christian you have to eat!"
"Urgh fine" i gave up, running into the kitchen and grabbing a piece of toast, i ran out the front door with it in my hand.
"Have a good day!" My mom yelled after me
"I will! Same to you!" I yelled back as the door shut.
Like hell i would. Speaking of which i saw a small group of girls on the corner, all of them wearing enough make up to sink a ship. They were Obviously waiting for another one of there clique to join them. As i got closer i recognised a few of them, i hurried to pull my sleeves down as far as possible.
"So she's new here?" A tall blonde haired one who went by the name of Janice asked
"Yeah, and i figured its better to introduce ourselves to her first so shes most likely to become friends with us" a shorter black haired one named Chantelle said.
"And then we won't have another Freak to deal with" another one chipped in.
"Speak of the devil, hello there Novelli! You're in a hurry! What's the matter? Your friends waiting for you? Oh.. Thats right. They're all imaginary", Shannon sneered as the other two cackled.
Thats not true! I do have friends.. Or at least i did back home. I've lived here for a year and a half and it still doesn't feel like home.
"Whats up Novelli? Cat got you're tongue.?" The tiny brunette (who i now recognised as Dharma) asked.
I bowed my head focusing on getting as far away from them as fast as possible.
"HEY NOVELLI! ITS RUDE TO IGNORE PEOPLE WHEN THEY'RE TALKING TO YOU!"
I sped up, my head tilted firmly towards the ground. The corner of the street approaching and bringing with it a moment of safety.
Then. I hit the ground, a shadow above me. I scrambled to my feet as quickly as i could. But it was still too late.
"OMG THE NEW GIRLS ONLY BEEN HERE 5 SECONDS AND SHES STILL MANAGED TO MAKE A FOOL OUT OF NOVELLI! I LIKE HER!" The group of girls laughed.
It was at this point i looked at the person who'd knocked me over.
She was a reasonable height, with brown hair that was styled carefully into a fringe and framed her face. She looked back at me and was about to say something when.
"Hey! You! New girl! What's your name?" Janice asked.
"Amy." The girl replied.
"Amy.. You're with us now! In a town like this you've got to choose your friends wisely. Otherwise you'll end up like Little Chrissy No-mates here."
"My name is Christian, not Chrissy" i replied blankly, my fists clenched.
The new girl looked at me. I felt her eyes burn into me as she stared up at me. What happened next came naturally as it is always my first instinct where possible.
I ran away. From this new girl, from the group of bitches. I ran as fast as i could to the school, running through the corridors and into my registration class. The bell wouldn't ring for the next 20 minutes but quite frankly, being in class was the safest place for me. I had been made a fool out of enough today. And it was only 8:45.
