Don't Let Go •short story•

7 Months later

I'm almost to my due date and I can't wait because this has been the most miserable pregnancy of my life . I don't ever think I want more kids.

"Cairo " I screamed because I was literally in a lot of pain

"Yes" he peeked around the corner

"Come here please " I waved for him to come over

He hesitated for a moment but made his way over to me .

He helped me sit up and I felt water run down my leg .

"Oh shit" I screamed as I felt a sudden amount of pain wash over me

"What the hell just happened " Cairo yelled

"My water just broke you lil shit" I yelled as I clutched my stomach

"O-oh ok " he said and stared pacing around the room

I rolled my eyes and grabbed my bag that was sitting by the door

"Bring your ass " I yelled as I waited by the front door

I heard him run down the stairs and I noticed he had on two mix match shoes . I shook my head and left out the door because I was in Pain and didn't have time for this .

I clutch onto my seat as I had another pain  shoot through my body

"Agh are we almost their " I whined

"Yea baby we are " he said as he blew out a shaky breath

I nodded as if he was paying attention. This was some serious shit and I didn't like it at all. I don't know if I could take this pain a second time round .

"Ohh" I semi yelled as rubbed my belly .

"Baby clam down because we're here " he got out of the car and rushed to my side and we made our way into the hospital.

"I'm never doing  this again" I complained

"Alright let's get her to the operating room " the nurse yelled as she rushed down the hallway.

"Baby I'm. Scared " Paige cried as she grabbed onto my hand

"It's gonna be fine so don't talk like that " I reassured her

She nodded and her hand in mine .

This was all a shock to me like I'm having my first child . It was all so real you know

"Alright sir come with us its time for her to deliver " a doctor said and I followed him down to wherever room she was in .

"Alright mrs. Brown push as hard you can ok but just don't push to hard " he instructed

"Aghhhhhh" Paige Screamed to the top of lungs

"Your doing great one more time " the doctor asked

"Agh" she said

"Wait stop " the doctor said and look as if he was feeling something

"The baby feels as if he's wrapped around the umbilici cord " he said

"What" Paige yelled as she looked at the doctor crazy

"Just please calm down this has happened to plenty of woman before , I can do this " doctor I leaned named to be dr. Omen

"Ok" she mumbled as she sniffled a little bit

20 minutes passed and Paige was ready to push again . She gave on big push and little she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl but unfortunately she was premature.

"Mrs. Brown I'm sorry to inform you but your baby girl was premature so she will need to be in the hospital for a  little while just until she picks up a little weight and also she's not breathing to good on her own yet " dr. Omen informed us

"Thank doctor " I said

"Lord what did I do wrong " Paige cried

"Paige baby it wasn't your fault ok so stop beating yourself up about that " I spoke to her as she softly sobbed into my Chest
