Paige

"Milan" I yelled as I walked into the living room .

"What girl " she said with her face scrunched up

"Ohh" I stale faces her "what's wrong " I asked

"Girl nothing I just been up all night because trinity is sick " she said and rubbed over pale face .

"Aww I hope my little baby gets better " I told Milan

"I hope so but what did you come over for because the Paige I know is not up before twelve so what's up " she asked

"Well me and Cairo went out on a date last night and girl let me tell you is so romantic, like it was a side of Cairo I've never see before but anyways we did all that and he took me back home and then.." Milan cut me off

"Bitch what happened " she asked eagerly

I laughed "Hold on I was getting to that  " I rolled my eyes

"Ok so he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him again and I said yes" Milan screamed making me jump

"Girl for real aww that's so sweet " Milan cooed

"Yeah yeah whatever but you don't think we're rushing into things since we just got back together " I asked unsure

"Honestly no and I say that because you guys have so much chemistry together and even though what he did to make y'all get a divorce in the first place wasn't cool at all , I still think that y'all love for each other didn't go away if anything I think it made it stronger , but Paige don't get back into this just because your still In love with that man but also because you trust him because without trust there's no steady foundation in the relationship you I know what I'm staying " she said

I could completely understand where she was coming from and I had to admit that even though i still love him , my trust for him is still on edge and I think that's where. We need to start before we jump into anything again .

"Your right and now I need to go talk to him so I'm Gonna go and give trinity a kiss for me " I pulled her into a hug and
grabbed my things then left

I made it home in twenty minutes top and come to my surprise Cairo was waiting for me .

"What are you doing here" I asked while walking into the apartment complex

"I came to see you is that so bad " he followed  and I laughed

"No I was just asking that's all" I stepped onto the elevator and pressed 4

"I am actually glad you showed up because I have to talk to you anyways " I said and I could  see his face scrunch up out the corner of my eye

"Shit man did you find another man because if you did I'm gonna be crushed " he whined and I rolled my eyes and laughed

"No boy just hold on and let me get settled " I said while stepping off the elevator and walking into my apartment

"Have a seat " I motioned to the couch

I went into my room to change into something comfortable.

"I'm back" I plopped down on the couch and faced him

"So what is it that you have to talk to me about " he asked with a unsure look on his face

"Alright before you think it's anything bad it's not . It's just that I wanna holdout on getting married "I said and he didn't say anything but just looked at me

"Are you gonna say anything " I scrunched my face up

"I understand " he said with sad face

"Look it's not like we can't stay engaged or anything it's just that I want to build the trust again before we start talking wedding plans you know " I said and played with my fingers

It was something I always did when I was nervous

"Like I said I understand completely and I caused that for you not to trust me and if it take a year or three years for you to trust me agains then I'm all in " he smirked

"Well I glad you understand "
I straddled his waist and missed him

"We in this thing for good now no more infidelity none of that just you and me " Cairo said while squeezing my butt

"Yep Just you and me " I said and kissed him again.
