Have you ever been so scared that your brain shuts off? A moment in time that the adrenaline takes you over and all you know in that moment is fear?

Yep. I most certainly know that feeling now. I feel myself getting lighter and lighter as the ship speeds up into space. Suddenly I am pressed backwards into my seat as we go into hyperdrive. I squeeze my eyes shut, grasping at the armrest of the seat with ridiculous force.

I drift into thought and get distracted from where I am and what I am about to do. I am suddenly released from my hold to the seat as the ship slows from light-speed.

I glance out the window and see what is in front of the ship. The moon, it's right there. Buildings of The Ones scatter the surface.

We hit the ground, and a tall older Keeper walks towards us from the control room. "Welcome to your mission." He says, almost to calmly, "Your mission is to kill every One that you see. Many of you will fall. But that shows you are weak. Good luck." He says, then smirks, "your guns are at the back. Grab them and go, we will be watching. Oh, and all of you get one grenade." He finishes and walks back to the front.

I stand along with the 39 other Gs in here. I grab my gun, a pulse rifle. I have only used a few of these, but it will have to do. I also grab my grenade.

As I step off of the ship, I watch it. The young boy that was sitting next to me on the ship falls to the ground, clutching his chest. He coughs up blood for a moment, and then it's all over for him. 'Don't think about him... Don't think about him.'

I think about him. But I can't to anything to stop it.

I take a different path, I stay low. I hear a low grunting noise from behind me and whip around, instantly aiming my rifle. I pull the trigger quickly and watch the creature fall. It lets out a squeal as it dies.

I hear more coming from that direction. I hide behind another rock and take each one out as they come. I finish that group off and turn.

I hear guns in the distance and run towards the noise. I feel a bullet whiz by my head and turn, noticing a drone. I take it down before it can shoot again.

I watch another ship filled with more creatures come down from above me. I dive and take cover and hundreds of them come out. This is what happened to dad! I unhitch the latch on my grenade and throw it into the swarm. It kills maybe 75 of them, but now the rest turn and face my direction. They start towards me.

I prop up my gun on the rock, taking out 18 more before I have to reload ammo. They begin to close in on me, aiming there guns and yelling to each other in a language I don't understand.

Where are other Gs? Why am I the only one in sight?! I finally reload and pick off 30 more. There are still a hundred. One runs around the rock I am at and lifts me up by the collar of my armor, my gun slips from my fingers. This is a large One, he holds me like I am nothing. He holds his pistol-like gun to my head.

I tried mom, and Liz. I'm sorry. I wanted to come back to you. I close my eyes and wait for his gun to go off. But it doesn't, I open my eyes as I hear his wails of pain, he drops me and I hit the ground with all my force. I grab my gun and aim, finishing him off instantly.

I turn to my right and see two soldiers fighting off the rest. They are obviously not Gs, and have gone through the training at their rank. They use weapons other than guns like melee attacks and knifes. Their guns are more powerful than mine, but I start shooting at the ones that they aren't attacking.

I run in and shoot off 30 more. When I kill the last one, there is silence. I walk toward the building and peak in through the window. Dead bodies of both Gs and Ones scatter the floor.
