Juno POV

I was already in the last chapter of the book when a guard interrupted my peace of mind. "Aguirre may bisita ka." Wika nito. I immediately fix myself baka si Calypso 'yon. I can't wait for the good news.

Imbis na sa visitors area ako dalhin, dinala ako nito sa isang pribadong kwarto. I can feel my heart racing and my anxiety is kicking in. 

"Sit."

It was my father. 

Ano naman kaya ang pakay nito.

"I told you to change the lawyer for this case, Juno. Ano ba ang mahirap sa utos ko? I'm doing my very best to keep you out of this prison, ano ba ang hindi mo maunawaan sa ginagawa ko para sa'yo?" He sympathetically said to me as if I'll buy that crap. I sighed. "Sa 'akin 'o para sa sarili mo?" 

I can sense it caught him off guard.

"Why do you want me to suffer, Father?" 

"I've lost my patience with you, Juno. If you won't change your lawyer, then admit you're acquitted of the crime. This is my final warning, Juno." What? Is he out of his goddamn mind?

"Mas lalong hindi ko gagawin yan, Dad." I strongly said. Hindi ako aamin sa salang hindi ko naman ginawa.

"If you won't then I will disbar Attorney Calypso Sanchez."

"What? You can't do that and on what grounds?" I know walang siyang dahilan para mawalan ng license si Cali to practice law. 

"You know that your relationship is already a major violation at your university. Isn't a student-teacher relationship prohibited, Juno? Am I correct?" Natigilan ako sa sinabi niya. Yes, I know that rule at Hampshire.

"You know, your girlfriend's ancestry is prominent here in the country. How do you think the Sanchez clan will react after hearing this? Juno, I am a senator of this country. I can get Atty. Sanchez disbarred if I want to, starting with this ."

"You won't fucking do it!" I can't believe what I'm hearing from this cruel man. This isn't my father anymore. I'm well aware of how fucking annoying he is, but the father I knew would not have gone beyond this point."

"Just do what I want, Juno, and I will spare your girlfriend from this."

"No! You won't, I won't let it happen! Never!" I said furiously. I could feel the blood rushing to my head. I want to punch his face so fucking bad.

"Oh, I will. Just watch me, kid," he smirked.

I could wipe that smirk off his face with my fist.

But on the other hand. I can't help but think about Calypso. I don't know what I should do. 

Am I going to warn her? Tell her about this meeting with my Father? Or..

Or should I give up and let my father win?

Calypso POV

"This is the best version we can do Ma'am" Ito ang sabi sakin nung nag enhance ng CCTV Footage. 

This version isn't what I expect pero I think the police can trace this man. Ang tanging lead na nakuha ko lang dito ay ang tattoo niya sa may kamay. It was a snake.
