Christmas Special

Christmas carols, feasts, singing and dancing filled the school's atmosphere. It was a time for celebration. For Hyunjin this is his favorite party out of every parties that the school provides. Surprisingly, this year's decorations were better than last year's. Games occupied the top floor and vibrant decorations were everywhere.

Hyunjin and his friends love to relax at this time the most. They could just casually chat without anything to worry about. Games were already waiting to be played which they gladly did. Christmas carols followed with a teacher dressed up as a Santa Claus. Candies were caught by the students as gifts from the "Santa Claus". Chaos was everywhere but in a good way.

Hyunjin's POV;

Time to retire to our classroom after all the fun. It was great to be honest after all the exams. Let's just call this party a stress-reliever. No wonder this party is my favorite. When me and my friends entered the room, it was a sight to see. Minho, Changbin and Chan were playing the guitar while singing. Jisung, Jeongin and Felix was helping our form teacher arrange the food that we ordered. Other classmates were doing stuff here and there.

We were thinking of passing around the food to our year teachers to show our gratitude. The form teacher saw me and instantly a warmly smile lit up on her face, "Jinnie, dear, would you mind passing these to other classes and teachers? With the help of your friends of course. Especially those three over there. They are just lousing around. Please take them away yeah?" 

I chuckled, "Of course! I will take them right away but you don't mind Seungmin accompanying me right? I can't handle them all alone since we all know they are monkeys... more like apes." Our whole class erupted into laughter while I was getting chased around by Minho. Seriously I was right.

The teacher handed out the food and gifts to each of us. "I want you three to listen to the both of them carefully okay? Especially you, Minho. Stick to Hyunjin. I don't want any other troubles after your recent behavior," the teacher commanded sternly. Minho just nodded and went out. 

"Aish that kid! Always like that. Disobedient!" the teacher said jokingly of course.

"Minho wait for me!"

"I am waiting sir," He gave me an unserious look. "Shut up. I was worried because you are forbidden from going into you know who's class," I replied. "Yep."

"But can I follow you in? I don't trust you to go alone," Minho said softly. "Sure. By the way where are the other two?" I asked while looking around just to see Changbin abandoned right in the middle of the hallway. 

"I don't know. They run off pretty much by themselves," Changbin replied while shrugging. "You guys just to do it. I already miss my Jeongin. Peace out." he continued as he went back into the class.

"Ugh..guess we are doing it by ourselves?" I asked. "Yep."

We entered into Dongyun's class just to give the snacks to our Math teacher. After we went in we could feel stares on us. "Don't be nervous, I am here," Minho said taking my hand and squeezing it reassuringly. He knows I have anxiety in front of a lot of people which is what I like about him the most. He is the most caring person on this planet. EEK..

We hurriedly gave the snack to the Math teacher and ran away. Just like that we continued giving gifts and receiving some back. We decided not to wait for that couple anymore. They couldn't get more annoying.

Back in the room:

It's gift exchange time. It's pretty simple. We all have to draw lots and we would get a number then a gift. As simple as that. It went pretty well but the only problem was me and Jeongin had to face the nagging of Minho and Changbin because Jeongin got Minho's gift while I got Changbin's gift. 

"But I wanted you to get that gift...," Minho said while pouting.

"Baby we are drawing lots. We can't pick what we want," I said but blush as soon as I realised what I just said. I got a habit of saying that because I always call my friends baby. Well that seems to lighten up Minho a bit more because he stopped nagging and went silent while smiling like a fool.

I even thought he was doing it deliberately. But Changbin couldn't stop nagging. Jeongin had to drag  him out of the classroom to try to persuade him which I was not complaining. Jeongin next time you better think wisely before choosing a partner. You don't want to end up with a whiny kid.

That night I went to sleep while smiling. I finally did it. I finally called Minho baby which I was dying to call even though I was not meaning it. It just slipped out. I will definitely get sweet dreams tonight.
