Chapter 6

((I should warn you this chapter is very short, for some reason I lost my will to write, I'm sorry!!!))

Xander's pov

"Are we there yet?" Synthia asked for the millionth time, it's been 30 minutes since the mini concert, but I won't call it 'mini' because there were so many people, who knew it would only take some persuading and threatening them until they come, but from the looks on their faces, I was sure that they enjoyed it.

"Be patient, were almost there"

"But it's so boring!!!"

"I know, how about we play a game, count the trees that passes by in silence and who ever counted the most trees wins, get it?" I said just so she would shut up, I know harsh but you try listening to her talking nonstop for half an hour, let's see if you don't go insane.

"I'm not a child Xander, but fine." She pouted when she finished talking. She averted her gaze outside and stared

"I know you're not a child, but you look like one when you pout like that, I think you look cute" I chuckled as I saw her face tainted with pink

"Shut up" after that we rode off, in a comfortable silence, with me smiling, her blushing face in my head, my wolf purring at the thought that she will be mine.

Suddenly, she quickly sat up looking intensely outside, she reached out and opened her mouth as to say something but nothing came out she quickly shut it, instead she jerked her head towards me with lifeless and cold eyes

"Xander, stop the car" she said in a small voice almost like a whisper

"What? Why?" I asked confused as I slowed down the car

"Stop the car" she said in a slightly louder voice

"But..." I didn't get to finish when she shouted at me

"I SAID STOP THE DAMN CAR!!" I quickly slammed the brakes which made the car skid slightly, she jumped out of the car and ran towards the forest, which were where the rouges base is located.

"Synthia wait!!!" I called out to her but it was too late she was already gone. I grind my teeth as I parked my car to the side and followed after her.

I never thought a girl like her being so seemingly fragile could ran so fast, I've been running for 15 minutes now and there's no sign of her and her scent vanished five minutes ago I've been worried ever since, what if something happened to her, what if she got kidnapped, what if she was bewitched or maybe all of the above!!?, I can't bear to lose her now that I found her, not now, not ever!!

With new found courage I ran full speed towards the last place I last smelt her scent.
I have to be careful this place is rogue territory.

As i got closer to the center of the forest I could hear someone talking. That must be synthia!! With that thought I ran faster.
