Shadow Hunter's

prologue

      "Come on kendra kill that demon already, we don't want to be late for our first day of school at the demon academy (Brooklyn high academy) tomorrow" i said to kendra who is still stabbing the demon on it's arms and legs and letting it die slowly

       "Oh, don't be a sour puss synthia let me have my fun to this demon pls?, just one more hour?" kendra said while batting her eye lashes at me

       "Ugh, fine but only thirty minutes, cause i want some killing of my own, then we can go back home" i said crossing my arms and looking at my watch, it's already 9 in the evening and we started our hunt 3 hours ago and kendra started beating the demons butt 2 hours ago, and i haven't had my killing's yet and kendra knows how grumpy i am in the morning when i don't have my killing's eyes in my hand's when i wake up.                                                                                                                                                                      After thirty minutes of beating the demon, kendra pulled out a knife and struck the demons heart letting fall down from his seating position and slowly turned to ash and fade away.

        "come now synthia, we don't want you going home without your 'prize'" said kendra who was smirking at me, prize is what she calls my eyes collection, which to me by that name is kinda rude, but i kinda am her sister, twin to be exact so i had to bare with it

           "alright, come on, i can sense a vampire a mile away, i'm sure it's pointy teeth can add to my 'prize' collection as you call it" i said with a smirk and i saw a grin plastered on kendra's face

             "YEAH!!, Alright!!! let's get this party started!!! woot woot!!!" kendra said fist pumping like a little child going to an amusement park and i just chuckled and started walking away

            after a 1 hour walk we saw a vampire drinking blood from a woman, it was pale and dead due to blood loss, I motioned kendra to stay back because this little creature is mine, kendra nodded and stepped back, knowing what i'm gonna do to the vampire.

           Grinning i attacked the vampire, I jumped then took out my black sword and held it in my right hand, then I took out my gun and held it in my left hand.

            I shot the vampires stomach, letting it screech in pain then i swung my sword to its face which made it angry, it charged at me and tried to bite me, i just got out of its way and shot its forehead and swung my sword again but this time i struck its neck then i took out a sharpened knife and took out its eyes from its detached head then i took out its fangs not its entire jaw

          "come on lets go! oh, and you can look now kendra i finished taking out its eyes 2 minutes ago" i said reassuringly to her because for some odd reason shes afraid to see me take out any creatures eyes or teeth and i don't know why, she turned my way and smiled

          "yeah lets go!! i'm sleepy!!" kendra said while her eyes are half lidded an i only laughed and rolled my eyes

         "yeah, yeah, yeah, calm thy self" I said then with my unknown magic-y stuff that I call shadow void, its black and swirly, I gathered enough swirly stuff on my hand and formed it as a black Mercedes car.

        "Whoa!! How come you always have the greatest things and I dont" kendra said while pouting and getting on the car and I followed then started driving towards home

           "Well, im the oldest and more responsible than you" I lied, actually I got this power when a demon held me up by my neck, it suddenly appeared then the demon was sliced into bits. When we arrived at our house,  we quickly made our way to the bathroom and did our nightly routin, we got into our pj's and snuggled into the bed sheets.

         "Good night kendra,  sleep well because were gonna have a long day tomorrow" I said and stroking her hair

          "Good night to you too sis, sweet dreams!" She said then fell asleep immediately and I chukled then started to fall asleep myself but not before thinking 'I wonder what were gonna encounter tomorrow' and then fell asleep in a dreamless slumber.
