You're so fucking good to me.

You make me wanna have kids.

Heeseung had been thinking about Sunghoon's reply all night, so much so that he could not fall asleep for the life of him.

He tried everything, tossing and turning all night long, even going as far as walking around his house late at night so that he could get so exhausted that we would knock out.

Nothing managed to work, his mind running all night long, and by the time he had almost started falling asleep, it was already the morning.

He sighs out of frustration, hitting the stop button on his phone to shut off his annoying alarm, then immediately resting his eyes closed.

He really wanted to fall back asleep, but his brain didn't let him, and his own heart sure as hell was about to kill him or something, beating so fast for absolutely no reason.

There clearly was a reason though, that reason being Sunghoon, but he really didn't want to admit that.

He hadn't responded to Sunghoon's text, well, he didn't know how to respond to it, so he didn't.

But what he did know was that Sunghoon was definitely going to text him again today, and with that thought, Heeseung quickly gets out of bed and goes to the bathroom to do his morning routine.

He didn't want to think about Sunghoon and how he somehow always manages to make Heeseung feel like he's going insane.

After finishing up his routine, he heads downstairs, mainly to check on his mother.

He really did think she was a bit less mean to him yesterday ever since he had told her that he cared about her.

Maybe he was imagining it, especially since that's something he tends to tell himself to make it all somewhat better, but he swears that she really seemed a bit different now.

"Good morning," he hears his mom say, making him flinch at the sudden words that spilled out of her mouth, fast and...normal.

His jaw drops immediately and he finally inhales the smell of eggs when he realizes.

He was shocked, to say the least.

Never had his mother greeted him good morning and made breakfast ever since his dad passed away.

It was always Heeseung who cooked, having to figure out how to feed himself pretty much all his life, not only for himself, but for his mother too.

She never cared about her health, but Heeseung cared.

He cared so much.

So, he would cook for her, and she always refused the food, but she eventually ate it due to being way too hungry to be petty.

He really could not remember the last time he saw his mother in the kitchen.

Probably since he was a kid.

Heeseung felt really emotional suddenly, tears forming in his eyes without even realizing.

She stares back at him, confused as to why he wasn't responding, and when she does, Heeseung immediately wipes his eyes with his sweater, embarrassed to be found crying about this by his mom.

"Good morning," he finally replies, his voice coming out shaky, which he fucking hated, not wanting to seem immature.

"I'm uh...making you some eggs," she tells him, gesturing to the empty plate. The eggs weren't done yet, but that was going to be Heeseung's plate. He almost starts sobbing. "It's probably gonna be ass, but...I hope it's not too bad."
