Oh... Ancent. I actually like her fashion style. Iyon ang una kong napansin sa kanya. Medyo boyish pero malakas ang dating. We could probably pass as Pinterest couples...
I chuckled a little while Mica and I were already on the way back to our friends. Ngumingiti rin si Mica sa gilid ko, busy sa phone niya, kaya sinilip ko kung ka text niya rin ba si Kael.
Mica:
Sorry if parang nakadisturbo ako sa lakad niyo!
Kael:
Haha no problem. Sinamahan ko lang din siya.
"Why are you even saying sorry?" I asked curiously, which made her shoulders jump a bit.
"I'm creating a new topic, okay! That's how we do it!" aniya at inilayo pa sa akin ang phone, ayaw magpabasa.
"What if that's his fling and he is just trying to make it an alibi that she's just a friend cuz he doesn't want to hurt your feelings, or he doesn't want to lose an admirer?" I concluded.
Her expression soured for me—almost disgusted.
"Ano bang tingin mo, kayo lang nila Brent ang pwede sa platonic friends?! Of course si Kael din 'no! Lagi niyo nalang talaga siyang pinagmumukhang masama," she defended.
"B-in-ully niya si Shiloh—"
"Oo nga, paulit-ulit! Pero ganoon din naman ang ginagawa niyo sa kanya ah? May nagsorry ba sa inyo sa kanya? Wala. And 'yung sa kanila ni Shiloh, malay natin the problem is already solved cuz Shiloh is in Kael's circle."
Shiloh is in Kael's circle? Huh? That got my whole attention.
"Really?"
"Yup! Naka close ni Shiloh si Denver. He's also friends with Kael."
What? Denver... that bisexual who's in a relationship with Arron? 'Yung nakasama ko rin noon sa shower room at soccer player din. Nakaangasan din ni Rick ang mga 'yon noong enrollment.
"Still, inangasan niya si Shiloh. Walang free pass doon," I argued to prove my point here.
"Oo nga. Mali naman talaga 'yon ni Kael. No one is defending him on that. But that doesn't give you the right to hurt him back."
Hurt him back? I am just toying with him because I don't like him. Kung nasasaktan siya, then he's a pussy.
Magsasalita na sana ngunit napansin ko ang grupo na papadaan at mababangga na halos si Mica kaya hinigit ko sa baywang para ilipat sa gilid ko. She paused her dramatic expression for a bit, looked at the groups who passed by, and looked at me again to put her attention back on our topic.
"Oh yeah? Cuz I heard from Gwen he is currently flirting with Rosie and someone saw them made out in Kael's car. 'Yung bigla akong ghinost. Nasa group daw ni Blanche ang nakakita. But what if, let's say, kaya ako inayawan ni Rosie kasi siniraan ako ni Kael?"
"Ano namang sisirain niya sa'yo eh sira naman na talaga ang image mo sa girls!" At walang kwenta rin talaga ang opinyon minsan ni Mica.
She didn't give too much opinion about Kael flirting with Rosie. She doesn't really care. Hindi ko alam kung dahil ba marami pa naman siyang crush, o confident siya na kaya niyang kunin ang lalaki kung gugustuhin niya.
Well, that's what I liked about Mica back in the day. She got that air of confidence that she knows she's pretty hot, and she's effortlessly using it. I like women who are confident about themselves. 'Yung alam nilang maganda sila at hindi nila kailangang mang-akit para mapansin.
