*my friend showed me this picture and she said that she thought of Gwen and Gray as the little kids. I found the picture cute. OK sorry carry on*
"Gray!" I yelled running over to my older brother, very happy. As I got closer to him, I hug tackled him. Causing us both to fall. I laughed, while he rubbed the back of his head. Gray must have hit his head from the fall.
"Why'd you just tackle me sis?" Gray asked. We got up, sitting across from one another.
"I wanted a hug from my broder," I stated as if I was a three year old or something, "plus I found a picture in the bracelet mama gave me," I tried to open the thing. But it was still hard to open for me. Since I only opened it once. Gray sighed, and began to help me open the thing. I couldn't have been more happier seeing this picture. I will always have my family with me, as long as I have this locket.
"I think I remember that day. You were very hyper as always. And I wasn't having a good day, but you somehow got me to cheer up," Gray says still holding my wrist with the bracelet on it. Gray had a gigantic smile on his face. Somehow I don't remember that day. I was only a little bit younger than I am right now. At least that's what mama said.
Gray and I were still looking at the picture when our parents came running into the room. They looked like they had just seen a ghost. They rushed over to us before we could even blink.
"We got to hurry and bring them to the basement!" Daddy announced to mama. Why are we going to the basement? Did something happen that me and Gray didnt even know about?
"What's going on? Why are we going down to the basement?" Gray questioned our parents. As we arrived to the basement, Mama and Daddy put us down on the ground. And sat with us for a while.
"What do you guys want to do to pass the time?" Mama asked us. Completely ignoring Grays questions.
"We should play a board game!" I exclaim very energetic. Mama and Daddy smile at me. But it looked like there was sadness in their eyes.
Before we could pull out any board games, there was a sudden shakingness to the ground. I scream and ran over to my older brother. I was shaking with fear. I mean this is my first earthquake. At least I think it's an earthquake.
"Gray watch over your sister. We will be right back," Daddy demanded, putting Gray in charge of me. Mama and Daddy stood up as quick as a rocket. Gray held me tightly in his arms, I didn't even care if I couldn't breath for the moment. I mean I already lost my breathe to fear. Once my parent went out the front door you could hear the villagers screaming bloody murder. What is going on? This has chaos written all over it.
"Gray what's going on? Where are Mama and Daddy going?" I questioned him.
"I don't know," Gray says. That didn't help ease my fear. I just hung closer to Gray not wanting to let go. "Why is the ground getting shakier?" Gray said to himself. That got me more scared. I wanted to cry so much at the moment. But no tears were coming out.
"I want Mama and Daddy!" I scream, feeling horrible after that.
"Gwen please stay right here . I'm going to go look for mom and dad," Gray said letting go of me. I didn't want to let go of him just yet. I didn't like being alone.
"Gray I'm scared. I want to come with you," my voice cracking and finally all the tears coming out.
"I'll come right back," Gray said loosening my grip on him. He wiped away the tears on my cheeks. "I promise," I nod my head, slightly smiling at him. Gray had left me in the basement all by my lonesome. It was very cold down here. That caused me to shake more. Mixed with my fear chills as well. That didn't help me at all. I tried to open the locket again. Actually getting it this time to open. My family is with me, so go away fear!
I felt a pebble hit my head. I looked up to see that the ceiling was cracking. The earthquake did feel like it got a lot stronger. Pebbles kept coming down from the ceiling. What am I suppose to do? I ran up to the door frame and stood below it. The ceiling eventually came down along with the other parts of the house. I wasn't hurt but stuck underneath all the debris. I had dust all over me. Oh no mama won't be happy from all this dust. Please Gray come back.
I look up to the sky to see a gigantic monster walking past the village, as if he was done with his business here. I stayed under the house debris for a bit longer. Just until morning, and I know that Gray was still alive by seeing him walk off with some woman and another boy with silverish blue hair. Gray why'd you break your promise. You didn't even come back to see if I was safe. I'm all alone. Gray, I don't think I can trust you ever again.
