Chapter 2: Finally a good guild

          I woke up with an ache in my back. Stupid cheap beds! But at least i got some sleep compared to all the other times i tried sleeping. For some reason i have had this recurring dream of Deliora coming back and destroying everything I love again. But for some reason he was on an island shaped like a crescent moon. Eh I'll just ignore it. Nothing to serious. Dreams never seem to come true. They just come when you're asleep.

        I walked over to the bathroom and took a quick shower. I have to look and smell nice if i want to join a guild, right? I know that's not the most important thing. The important thing is magic, but still. I just want to be presentable, I guess. Phantom Lord doesn't bother me as much. Compared to Fairy Tail and Lamia Scale. I had reasons to not join those guilds, but when Phantom Lord came to mind. I couldn't come up with a reason why I wouldn't join that guild. So Phantom Lord was the winner!

        I got dressed into my normal style of outfit, crop top, jeans, jacket around my waist, boots and my bracelet. I put on a little bit of makeup, and headed out the door. Once I was done with that and had all my stuff packed. I gave the room key back to the front desk person. Then completely left the hotel building. OK now to find where the Phantom Lord was at. I pulled our one of my Magazines of Sorcerers Weekly, I know for sure they have got to be in one of these issues. I sat down down on a bench near by, so I wasn't in the way of everyone else.

        "There's Lamia Scale, not what I want. Found Fairy Tail, but also not what I'm looking for." I said to myself, flipping through the pages of a new magazine. This is the second one i looked through. But no sign of them quite yet.

         After another few magazines, I was getting frustrated with the dang thing. It was really hard to keep back my anger and not tear this stupid picture book.

         "Found it!" I yelled a little bit to loud. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked over at me. I smile out of embarrassment and scratch the back of my head. They all went back to what they were doing. I felt relief wash over me when they finally looked away. I should really control my temper a little bit better. That was embarrassing. I looked back at the magazine and found the address to the Phantom Lord guild. That took longer than I expected it to be. Plus its going to probably be dark by the time I get there. Or the sun will at least be setting. OK Gwen. Don't get distracted by anything. Your main goal is to get to Phantom Lord and become apart of their guild.

*2 hours later*

         OK maybe I was exaggerating the time a bit. The sun has not set yet. Well it hasn't even begun to set. Damn I was way off. I walked throughout the village looking for the guild building to pop our in  front of me. But building don't actually do that. So I'm shit out of luck.

          After a while of looking around for just that building i finally found it. That was supper hard to find, or I was just not looking hard enough. And was being as blind as a bat. It could for surely be that i am as blind as a bat. I walked through the entry way of Phantom Lord and looked around the building. Damn it seems super suspicious on the inside than it does on the outside.

         "Who are you and what do you want?"said someone. The guy kind of sounds intimidating by his voice. I have never met someone like that. I turn around to see the person behind me. Yup! Even his appearance makes him intimidating. He had long black hair, red eyes and his face was covered with piercings. To me he looked like a crazy person. But I shouldn't judge a book by its cover. "Hello." He said waving his hand in front of my face. Shoot was i really staring for that long. Maybe I'm the crazy one.

          "Oh my name is Gwen Fullbuster. Where could I find the master of this guild." I said not making eye contact with him. I can't look at his eyes or it will make me show fear. Like I said, intimidating. He pointed in the direction of the guild master.

        "He's over there talking to some weaklings. By the way the names Gajeel Redfox." He said.

         "Nice to meet you." I said walking away, and towards the guild master. The master was very slim. Like you could probably see his bones if you were closer to him. It looked like those guys got into some major trouble with the guild master. But for all I know the guild master could just be a jackass. As I got closer to the three people you could clearly hear what the guild master was yelling for. He was say that those two brought shame to the guild hall and the guild members. Well that's a little bit harsh, but Phantom Lord might just have some rules that are, I guess, are pretty harsh as well.

          One of the two people who were in trouble notice I was coming in their direction. And that caused the guild master to look over to me as well. He gave a glare, maybe still mad at those two and didn't want to deal with anyone else. I started to get nervous and want to come back tomorrow. But I didn't listen to that fear. So I just kept walking over to the group.

          "And who might you be." said the slim man, waving off the other two to walk away from here. They listened and ran away instead. is this guild master that fearsome.

         "My names Gwen and I'd like to join this guild." I said keeping my cool. Not to show fear in front of him. Who knows what he might do if I showed how scared I was. He could probably not let me join the guild. And I cannot have that.

         "OK then. Give me a glimpse of what you magic is." He said folding his arms across his chest. Staring me down like I was a piece of trash. I inhaled and exhaled so I could calm myself down. i closed my eyes and focus my magic energy to my arm. Pulling out one of my many animal souls. I didn't want to pull out the bobcat soul i just got. So I pulled out my tiger soul instead The master looked impressed that I some how got a tiger soul.

          "I have animal possession magic. I have had this soul from when I was still a beginner. Not anyone who has this magic can get a tiger from when they first start." I said confident in myself it is true no one except for me has got a tiger soul that early. If anything I could get something way stronger now than the tiger now. The master had an evil grin on his face now. What is that look for? Are you planning something?

         "Your magic will be very useful for this guild. OK you can join this Phantom Lord. Where do you want your guild mark and what color?" I told him where I wanted the guild mark and what color I wanted it. I looked down at my stomach after he was done putting the guild mark where I wanted it. It was Sky blue, the color I wanted. I chose that color because that actually is what the color my animal souls come out as. So I wanted that color to match my animals. I smile and bow to the guild master. Leaving to find Gajeel. He's the only person I know, to tell him about me being apart of the guild now. I finally found him at the bar area, leaning against the counter. Right next to him was a girl with blue hair and dressed up in a Russian style outfit. She looked really gloomy. What shit in her corn flakes.

          "Hey Gwen!" Gajeel yelled. i stopped in front of the two. And smile at them. "Welcome to Phantom Lord."

         "Thanks Gajeel." I said still very happy.

        "Welcome to the guild I'm Juvia Lockser." said the girl next to Gajeel.

       "Nice to meet you." I said with a bright smile. Okay maybe I'm a little to happy right now. I haven't been this happy ever since before Deliora had attacked my village. So basically I'm not use to this feeling anymore. I talked to these two for the rest of the day until I had to go look for my room at the Phantom Lord dormitories. I have a good feeling that i chose the right guild.
