Final Chapter: Now I Know How Gray Felt

*So I thought I would find a song that suited Gwen. My first choice was Hollow by Breaking Benjamin. But I couldn't find any videos that would work for wattpad. So imaginary by Evanescence was a close second. So enjoy the last chapter.*

It's been a few weeks since I last saw Gray. He told me he was going on the S-class trials for his guild. Ever since he left to their sacred island, I've been worrying about him a lot. And I have been looking at my locket a lot more. Hoping he stays safe. Lyon has been giving me comfort lately too. Because he knows I don't want to loose my brother again.

I was in my bed, cuddled up to Lyon once again. I'm very thankful for Lyon. If it wasn't for him, I would be very worry some. I looked at Lyon, he was still asleep. He looks so cute. Wait what? I just thought that. Should I accept my feelings for him. Lately they have been getting a lot stronger. I wonder what Gray would think. I mean him and Lyon don't really get along that well. He probably won't approve of it.

"Morning." said Lyon.

"Morning sleepy head." I said sitting up. He sat up as well.

"How you feeling?" Lyon asked. He usually asks me this every morning. It's very kind of him. I love that when its the next morning and he asks if I'm OK.

"Yeah. I'm fine. Thank you Lyon." I said getting out of bed. I did my usual ruiten like every morning. I got back into my room once I was done. To my surprise Lyon was still in my room. "What are you still doing here Lyon."

"Can I not stay a little longer?" He asked.

"Well you can. It's just you are already gone by now." I said. Lyon walked over to me, and surprised me with a hug. "Now its my turn to ask. Are you OK?"

"I know how you feel to be lonely. I had lost my parents. And Ur was the only person that I had, till she used iced shell on Deliora. After that I had no one. I had this grudge on your brother."

"Lyon what are you getting after?" I asked.

"I wanted to surpass Ur. So by doing that I wanted to defeat Deliora myself. By doing that I melted the ice that was Ur. But your brother stopped me. He convinced me to join a guild. I joined Lamia Scale and not soon after you joined." Lyon finished. He just told me part of his story. Wow. My brother impacted both of our lives. We kept in that hug for what felt like minutes.

"Lyon-" I was cut off.

"I'm sorry." Lyon said about to let go of our hug. But I didn't let him.

"Don't let go. You don't know how thankful I am that you're in my life. You've stuck with me, even when I was being a complete bitch to you and the others." I said. Lyon hugged me ever tighter.

"I'll always be there for you. Because I..." He didn't finish his sentence.

"Because you what?" I asked. Lyon let go of the hug and place his hand on my cheek. Our faces were getting closer with every second. Soonout lips met, causing this to be my first kiss ever. Butterflies were in my stomach. I started to smile, very happy.

"I like you... Maybe even love you Gwen. In response I just missed him again.

"I love you to Lyon." I said still smiling. My cheeks are hurting from all the smiling I have been doing.

"What does this make us?" He asked. Hmm want does that make us.

"I don't know what this makes us." I said wrapping my arms around his kneck.

"How about I take you on a date and we'll see." He said. I nod my head happily.

We both walked over to our guild hand in hand. I wonder what the rest of the guild members would think. Sherry might freak out and say I stole the love of her life from her. No I didn't take Ren from you Sherry. As we entered the guild no one noticed Lyon and I were holding hands. We let go of one anothers hands and we both went to separate areas. Lyons probably going to talk with Jura or something. And I went to the job board. I'll only take an easy job today.

"What's with you and Lyon today. You both look very happy." Sherry said.

"Well maybe that just needs to stay between Lyon and I." I said.

"Did you guys confess your love for one another?" Sherry said happy but angry.

"What did I say about getting involved with my love life." I said glaring at her.

"Sorry." She said now walking away. Finally I can focus on looking for a job. Dammit there's nothing to my liking. Maybe I should just go on a walk today. I walked out of the guild hall, not bothering with telling anyone where I was going. I pulled out one of the animal souls to keep me company. Yeah I pulled out a squirl. What I know that it's useless. But not that useless. It keeps me company when I'm waking by myself. Maybe I should have asked Lyon to come with me. Looking at the squirl soul, it kind of looked upset. Maybe it feels like its my prisoner, only using it for my own selfish needs. I shouldn't torcher him like that.

"I here by release thy squirl soul to the heavens. You shall not feel like a prisoner no more. I'm very sorry for keeping you from your happiness." I said speaking to the soul. It looked very happy that I was letting it go. The squirl happiness, is my happiness. All I want my animal souls is to be happy. As I released that soul, someone came up behind me and poked my sides. I jumped and turned around to see Lyon.

"Lyon i told you not to do that." I said. Lyon started laughing at my reaction. "It's not funny."

"It's cute when you pout." He said finally done laughing." I saw you leave the guild hall. So I came after you."

"Well ok." I said continuing my walk. It was quiet between us. But it wasn't awkward. We past a dmfew shops, and we bought a few things from those shops.

As I was getting a snack from one of the booths. Lyon was at a different shop. I have no clue what he would want to buy. Who knows. I bought Lyon a snack as well because I thought would be nice of me. Lyon came out of a jewelry shop.what was he doing there. Maybe buying a watch. Lyon walked over to me with a smile spread across his face.

"What you so happy about?" I said smiling as well.

"Hold out your wrist." He said. I obliged. Lyon put a bracelet around my wrist. The bracelet also had a locket on it. But when I opened the locket it had a picture of Lyon and I. My smile grew bigger than it was. I didn't think that was possible.

"Lyon its beautiful. You didn't have to get me this." I said.

"I know but I wanted to." He said.

"Here I got you a snack." Ibsaid embarrassed. He got me a bracelet, but I just got him a snack. How does that work out? Lyon laughs.

"Why thank you Gwen. I will cherish this." He said taking a bite out of it. I started to laugh. I looked at the picture that was in the new locket. And I couldn't help but love it. I wish I got something more meaningful for Lyon. Great this is going to be hard to live down.

"I take it you like the bracelet." Lyon said.

"No." He looked shock once I said that. "I love it."

"Why'd you trick me like that?" Lyon asked. I laughed.

"I felt like it that's why." I said still laughing. Lyon just smiled. We cared on walking. Lyon took my hand in his and intertwined our finger. This is like the perfect day. I saw a new issue of Sorcerers Weekly. I took a copy and looked through it. Maybe I spoke to soon on today being the perfect day. "Yesterday Fairy Tail's sacred island disappeared. There was no sign of the Fairy Tail mages that were there for their S-class trials. The council set out ships to go looking for them. But nothing was found. So they were sentence as dead. The mages were; Makarov Dryer, Mira Jane, Lisanna, and Elfman Strause, Erza Scarlet, Natsu Dragneel, Lucy Heartfilia, Gajeel Redfox, Levy McGarden, Evergreen, Freed, Bickslow, Juvia Lockser, Guildarts Clive, Cana Alberano, and Gray Fullbuster. They will be missed."

Next thing I knew, I had dropped the magazine and cried into Lyon chest. Gray you better not be tricking me. But if you're not. I know how you felt whn you thought you lost me. I guess you should expect the unexpected, Older Brother.

*So if you couldn't tell I didn't do a great job on the whole LyonxGwen relationship part. And yes there will be a sequel to this story. I'm not going to end the whole thing like that. I had so much fun writing this. I hope you liked this story. Thanks for reading yet again. :)*
