A nalu fanfic: At home, sick

Lucy's POV

Hm I must've fallen asleep after Natsu went home. I notice my side is warm and cuddle up closer to the source of heat. I feel my face on a hard.. something. I don't really care right now though. I'm still sleepy. But I get more curious as I felt it move and opened my eyes. That's when it hit me. I remember now! I fell asleep against Natsu yesterday.. that's kind of embarrassing. I shoot up out of bed, my face flaming hot. "W-whats wrong?" Natsu says,clearly almost as embarrassed as I am. His hair is all scruffy and his eyes are half open. Even though he's embarrassed he's still sleepy. "I u-um. Nothings wrong.. b-but. " he looks at me confused. Even though I know he's embarrassed about the same thing I am embarrassed about he doesn't even notice How flustered I am. I mean he is Natsu. Poor most-of-the-time-clueless natsu. "Well you sure did sleep for a long time. I mean I'm used to sleeping for more then 12 hours but I didn't know you were capable. We-i mean.. you fell asleep around 3 yesterday and now it's 11 am! "
" Well I was sick, you dope"
"Oh right. Are you feeling any better?!?"
"Yeah I am actually. "
"Great we can go to the guild today and look for new jobs right!?!?! Yayyy " he takes my hand and smiles widely at me.
"Yeah we can " I smile at him and our eyes lock for what seemed like minutes but way one a few seconds. At that moment it seemed like time slowed down and everything was serious. Natsu and my faces matched the color of erzas hair as we just stood there and looked at the ground. He's still holding my hand..
"U-um Natsu?"
"Yeah Luce?"
" Well um.. I just want to say Thank you for staying with me yesterday and making sure I was okay. I've never had a friend that would do that for me only because I had a cold." I calm down and smile.our eyes lock again . "Thank you. It was sweet."
He doesn't say anything. With one of his hands holds one of mine and the other one is on the top of my head.

Natsus POV

I look at her lips. God what am I about to do.. if I'm gonna do it then I better do it fast before she gets creeped out. and before even thinking about it my lips were on hers. I feel her lips stiffen but then soften as she deepens the kiss shyly. That builds my confidence and I put my hand on her soft flushed cheak and deepen the kiss even more. She wraps one of her hands around my neck and the other one is still holding my hand. I take my thumb and stroke hers. We both pull away from the kiss gently to catch air. My heart is beating the fastest it's ever been in my whole life and I feel awkward but also very happy. I look at the ground and she does the same. We both shyly lock eyes and blush. "What were we talking about again?"
She giggles and I put my forehead on hers and whisper "I understand Why I've been so nervous around you lately now Lucy. I think.. I-I think I love you. " she smiles at the ground and whispers back "I love you too dork. " she wraps she hands around my neck and my hands around her waste and we hug for a good 3-4 seconds before we leave for the guild. I grab her hand and walk out confidently.
