It was supposed to be just another episode for their weekly YouTube channel, SKZ CODE. A fun, winter camping trip for this episode to showcase their group's spirit of adventure this Christmas - nothing too difficult, just a few hours of bonding in the snow-covered mountains, an open fire, and some friendly competition. But for Lee Felix, the sunshine of the popular K-pop group Stray Kids, this trip would turn into something he'd never forget.

Felix had always been known for his easy-going, playful personality. His fans adored his infectious smile and his willingness to try anything for the channel, even if it meant braving the cold for a winter camping special. The others in Stray Kids - his bandmates - were all excited too, but they had agreed to take things easy. It was supposed to be a break from the usual demanding schedule, a way to unwind and let fans see the relaxed, goofy side of their personalities.

The cabin they rented was nestled deep in the mountains, isolated from the city. It had a rustic charm, with wood-paneled walls, a cozy fireplace, and a large front porch. The team had made a plan: Felix would start the fire, while the other members took a quick trip to the nearby store for supplies. Felix was left alone for only an hour or so, no big deal.

But what Felix didn't anticipate was how quickly the weather would turn.

It started innocuously enough. The sky was still clear when he stepped outside, hoping to capture a few clips for the vlog. The snowflakes were delicate at first, gently falling and melting as they hit the ground. He'd been wearing his thick winter coat, but he wanted a few shots of the pristine white landscape without the heavy jacket weighing him down. So, he slipped it off, planning to toss it over one of the chairs on the porch for just a few minutes. He wore only a light hoodie underneath, but that didn't seem like a big deal at the time.

A mischievous idea crossed his mind. "I bet the guys won't even notice I'm out here," Felix thought, laughing as he filmed himself spinning around and throwing a snowball into the air. He felt carefree, enjoying the beauty of the moment and the chilly winter air. He didn't think to check his watch for the time, nor did he notice the ominous clouds that had slowly gathered overhead.

It wasn't long before the temperature dropped sharply. The sky darkened, the snow began to fall harder, and within minutes, a blizzard had set in. Felix spun around to head back inside, but he froze in panic when he realized the door had locked behind him. The key to the cabin was inside, and without his phone in hand, he had no way to contact the others.

"Wait, what?" Felix muttered to himself, trying to turn the handle again. The door didn't budge. His heartbeat quickened. He was in only a thin hoodie, short sleeves, and jeans. His coat was nowhere to be found - he had tossed it outside in his carefree moment. Worse, the blizzard was intensifying. What had started as a light dusting was now a full-fledged storm, wind howling as the snow pelted his face.

Panic set in. Felix knocked on the door, hoping one of his bandmates would somehow hear him, but there was no answer. The others were at the store, likely distracted by their own errands. The storm had picked up so quickly that it seemed impossible for anyone to come back in time to help.

His fingers were already beginning to stiffen with the cold as the minutes ticked by. Felix tried the door again, but it remained locked. His breath came out in foggy bursts as he shivered uncontrollably. Every time the wind howled, it sounded like a cry for help, but there was no one to hear him.

With no choice, Felix stumbled over to the porch chairs, desperate for some shelter. His body was shaking violently now. He sat down in an attempt to shield himself from the snow, but his hoodie was no match for the blizzard's icy grip. His teeth chattered uncontrollably. He closed his eyes, trying to focus on staying calm, but his mind raced in panic. Hypothermia was setting in, and he knew it.

The pain in his fingers was becoming unbearable, and his body felt numb. He had learned about the dangers of extreme cold before-during an interview, one of the older members had spoken about it briefly - but never had he expected to be caught in it himself. He had always been so carefree about the weather, shrugging off the cold. Now, his body was betraying him, and he was utterly alone.

It felt like hours had passed when he finally heard the crunch of footsteps in the snow. Felix's vision was beginning to blur, and his limbs felt as though they were no longer under his control. Just as he was starting to lose hope, the door of the cabin finally opened.

"Felix! Felix!" It was Hyunjin, one of his older members, shouting his name. The group had returned from the store earlier than expected, and when they saw the blizzard worsening, they rushed back.

Hyunjin's eyes widened when he saw Felix slumped on the porch, shaking uncontrollably. Without hesitation, Hyunjin rushed over, wrapping Felix in his coat and pulling him inside.

Felix could barely stay awake, his body barely functioning, his teeth still chattering violently. Inside the warm cabin, Hyunjin immediately started a fire, and the others scrambled to get blankets and hot drinks for Felix.

"Why were you out there in the snow like that? You scared us half to death!" Bangchan scolded, though his voice was soft with concern as he helped Felix into a blanket by the fire.

Felix could barely respond, his words slurred. "I... I locked myself out... and didn't realize the storm..."

The others surrounded him, their faces a mix of worry and relief. It was a close call, but Felix was safe - just shaken, his body recovering from the shock of the cold. Chan continued to rub his arms to warm him up, while the others set up a cozy space around him. Slowly, the feeling returned to Felix's fingers, and the tremors in his body lessened.

"I'm so sorry," Felix murmured after a while, his voice weak. "I should have known better."

"It's okay," said Minho, one of the oldest members, giving him a reassuring pat. "You're here, and that's what matters. But next time, don't be so careless."

Felix nodded, feeling embarrassed but immensely grateful. They didn't scold him further - this was a family, after all, and they were just relieved he had made it back. The blizzard outside was still raging, but inside, they were safe, together.

As they all sat around the fire, laughing and sharing stories, Felix realized that while the storm had terrified him, it had also brought them closer. He might have locked himself out in the cold, but in the end, he had found warmth in his bandmates' care.

The vlog episode would go up, of course. But Felix would make sure to mention, in a very real way, just how dangerous that storm had been. And, as he added with a mischievous grin, how he would never forget the lesson of always checking that the door is unlocked before stepping outside.
