As Pietro stopped kissing you, you couldn't help but hug him in an attempt to shield your severe embarrassment. He laughed as you buried your face in his chest. You stamped on his foot so his laughing wouldn't attract any attention, and he let out a yelp. It took you a moment to process what had happened, but when you did, you couldn't help but smile widely. You almost wanted to kiss him again. Almost.
At the same time you really wanted to keep hugging him until anything awkward had passed. You pulled out of the hug, and his face fell.
"Um... Sorry. That was kind of stupid." He sighed.
"It was kinda stupid." You repeated, smiling. "But it's one of the few stupid things you do that I fully condone." You didn't even try to stop Pietro as he started to double over laughing this time. As he stood up straight once more, he slung his arm over your shoulder. The two of you started walking down the hall once more. At your door, you stopped. "Thanks." You said.
"For what? The sparring, the walk, the coffee or the kiss?" He asked, and the cheeky grin on his face kind of meant all of them. You let out a small, uncharacteristic chuckle.
"All four." You smiled, opening the door. Before you closed it, you turned to him. "I'll see you at dinner."
"You too." He mumbled, and even in the darkening hallway you could see the red creeping up his cheeks. As you shut the door, you sunk to the floor, burying your face in your hands. 'Oh my god' you thought. 'Oh my god. I actually kissed him. Well, he kissed me, but I agreed so it was still kissing but OH MY GOD.' You looked up, staring around your room. Anything to distract yourself would be fabulous at that moment.
Wanda would kill you, that's for sure. So would Jeremy. Mabel and Michael would tease your forever. Hell, even Pietro was going to. Your hand curled some shadows into random shapes as you sat, still failing to distract yourself from just how much you enjoyed that.
A knock came from the door, and you opened it to Thor. You cried out, happy to see he was back from Asgard. He'd left a month earlier to see how everything was holding up back in his realm. You wrapped the god into a hug.
"Oh my god!" You shouted. "Hey man!"
"Hello to you too!" He boomed, hugging you back. You let go, staring at him briefly.
"Does anyone else know you're back?"
"No one as of yet. You are the first to know of my return."
"Why me?"
"You seemed to need my counsel the most while I was still here, and I figured I should visit you first." He smiled. "Are you ill? Your face seems particularly red." Hearing the concern in his voice made your cheeks redder. You hadn't even noticed you were still blushing. You shook your head.
"N-no! I'm fine!" You cried. Thor nodded.
"Well then, I will see you at dinner." He told you, before saying a quick farewell and making his way down the hall towards Jeremy's room.

Dinner was nothing short of eventful. Thor had brought with him, a woman with brown hair named Jane, an astrophysicist. The two seemed to be together, which you fully supported. Jane was a nice woman, who seemed to get along with both you and Pepper well. You sat across from them at the table, sometimes contributing to their conversations. There were lots of glances towards the speedster at the other end of the table, who was sometimes already staring at you, only to be teased by Jeremy.
You looked up at Jane as she said your name. "Hmm?"
"So, how have you been holding up? Thor told me about what happened to your home." She said. You shrugged.
