A/N Hi sorry it has taken me this long to get out the next part. Been having personal problems and i wasn't happy with this chapter but i hope you like it.

After the door closed behind me, I broke out into a sprint trying to get home as quickly as possible. My mind was racing what did she mean that I didn't belong to a faction or to many really?

I slowed down into a jog as our house came into view. I kept going to the back of the house where the dogs where instead of going in not wanting to be home quiet yet.

"Come on Luna lets get you and the pups out for a bit." I spoke softly to her scratching behind her soft ears. I whistled to get the puppy's attention and as they looked up and saw that the gate was open they sprinted straight for it.

Once they where out they started circling me and jumping up to get my attention I quickly crouched down and patted them one by one. "Hi pups, are you ready to go for a run?" I asked them in my puppy voice (You know the high-pitched voice everyone does).

We headed off for a jog down to the dam as it was a hot day, and they would enjoy the water. I spent hours down there to kill the time, so I didn't have to go home.

Suddenly the gong went off signal to everyone that it's dinner time and to come in from the fields.

"Where did you go today? And don't say at school I went there to pick you up early as a last day at school treat." Dad asked turning his full attention to me. "I came home early, the serum made me sick, and they sent me home." I said looking down at the table as he kept on staring at me.

"Come with me" he said not showing a hint of emotion as he pushed his chair back. I stood up and followed him out the door. He sat down on the swinging bench and patted the spot next to him for me to sit. As I sat down, he continued to look out at the horizon, we sat there for a couple minutes before he turned to me "What were your test results?" he asked softly. "They um they..." I stuttered "It's okay, it's okay you can tell me." He said while gently putting his hand on my shoulder.

"They, ah... Inconclusive. It came back inconclusive." I whispered not wanting to meet his eyes worried what he might say or do. "Divergent" he sighed then quickly pulled me into a hug. "It's going to be alright." He murmured as I started to cry from the stress.

We sat there in an embrace until I had calmed down by then the sun had almost set. "Did she tell you your results?" I nodded my head "What are they?"

I took a shaky breath "Amity, Erudite and Dauntless."

"Ah, I'm not surprised. Your mother was born in amity but her parents both transferred from Erudite. I was from dauntless." He paused for a moment to collect himself "You know when your mother died, I was so worried that I was going to lose you to. You were so small and, and fragile. But you have been a fighter from the start, and now I'm going to lose you all over again."

"You're not going to lose me dad. I'm right here."

"No, tomorrow I know you will leave. And I'm proud of you for it, I knew from the start that you were my little fighter. And even if you haven't decided yet we both know that you're not going to stay here."

I turned away and looked down at my feet, as he spoke truth I wasn't going to stay here. Don't get me wrong I love it here but I couldn't live here for the rest of my life and not go crazy.

"Come on, lets gt you inside. You have a big day tomorrow." He stood up and gave me his hand to pull me up.

We walked in the back door and I looked at Jason and walked straight into his arms. We don't say anything as we pull apart he gave me a watery smile and I head off to get ready for bed.
