Toews' family gets up and cheers and hugs an kisses!
A few Days go by and Toews finally meets up with one of his teammates, Duncan Keith.
"New Kid, heard you got drafted 3rd overall to us" Duncan Keith says
"4 years doesn't make you a vetaran" Toews fired right back at him
"Woah, settle down there buddy, Now you should meet the rest of the players, they're just getting ready for practice at the United Center" he said
They rushed off to The United Just just on time for practice.
"Here I'm introducing you to last years rookie Patrick Sharp, Adam Burish and Michal Handzus. I'll leave you with them.
"So your the new boy around here eh?" Handzus says
"Yeah, proud to be a hawk"
"That's the spirt" Handzus says
"Let's go do some warm ups" Sharp says
"Hey your new here too Sharpie" Burish says
"I know the drills now, it doesn't take long to learn them"
"Aah I got you you small boy"
They got onto the ice, and started practice
Keith hopped onto the ice shortly after and challenged Toews, Sharp and Bryan Bickell to play against him and Michal Handzus with Nikolai Khabibulin in the crease.
"Let's see how you'll do now pigeon" Keith Says
"Haha, your funny" said Toews
Toews starts of with the puck at center, with Bickell on his left and Sharp on his right.
He skates over to the left circle and sees a wide open Sharp calling for the pass.
He gets the puck to Sharp, he one times it, but it hit of the crossbar.
Khabibulin didn't know where the puck was and neither did anybody else. But Bickell saw the puck trickling out of the crease, he went and put in the rebound.
"You got lucky there" Handzus says
The whistle blows signaling the end of practice.
"Practice Tomorrow at 8:00am!" Coach says.
