AS I STEPPED INTO THE GREAT HALL, my eyes wandered, taking in the sight—it was beautiful. The room filled with soft blue hues of the snowy facility.

Though i felt multiple eyes on me, i forced myself to stay calm.

My eyes scattered across the room, searching without meaning, then i saw him.

Riddle stood near the far end of the hall, leaning casually against a pillar with a glass in hand. The deep crimson accents of his suit matched perfectly with mine, as if it had been planned. His dark hair fell into his eyes, his tie slightly undone.

I cursed under my breath, what had i gotten myself into.

He wasn't smiling, but his lips curved slightly, as though he knew something no one else did. His gaze roamed the room lazily—until it landed on me.

And then, in that moment, it felt almost as if he'd taken my will to breathe.

His expression shifted in that instant, and a smirk graced his lips. He handed his drink to Draco, and made his way over to me.

My heart stuttered, Why do i feel so.. nervous?

I quickly looked down, pretending to fix the hem of my dress. Though it didn't matter, as his presence felt like a storm rolling in.

"You showed," He murmured, his gaze engulfing me.

"I didn't have much of a choice, now did i?" i hummed, giving him that same expression.

"No, you didn't." He breathed, stepping closer to me, invading my space in a way that made it impossible to focus on anything else. "I didn't think you'd be able to pull it off."

"Pull what off?" I asked, my brows knitting.

"That dress," His eyes swept over me again, lingering on the neckline. "You're making it hard to focus on anything else."

"Then, maybe you should stop looking." I teased.

"Not a chance," he grinned, his eyes lingering on my lips as i rolled them between my teeth out of anxiousness.

My breath hitched as he reached his hand up to gently graze my cheek. The touch was fleeting, leaving warmth to scatter down my spine.

"Dance with me," His tone low, leaving no room for arguing.

I hesitated, glancing over to the dance floor where couples swayed gracefully with the music. "I don't think that's a good idea."

"Good ideas are overrated." He held out his hand, his eyes dark gleaming with something unreadable. "Come on, Princess. Don't make me ask twice."
