Elijah's POV
Today is the last day of 2024 and we all are going to light fireworks tonight. First we're going to have dinner at a restaurant down the street. We got seated and started a converstion, well it was 2. One of the guys and one of the girls. "Sooo are you all kissing someone at midnight" Daniel asked. "I'm not sure if I want to kiss the person I have in mind" Micah says. "Micah I swear if you are thinking of someone else then Michelle I will lose it" Judah comments which makes Micah blush. "You should kiss her bro, she definitely likes you back" I tell him. "I'm not so sure aout that" Micah tells me. "Hey Michelle, I heard you like Micah over here, is that true" Judah just casually yell over the table. Michelle suddely stops talking and blushes very hard. "Does that answer your question" Judah asked Micah. "I don't know" "Are you serious"
"What about you Eli, ae you kissing someone" Daniel asks as he wiggles his eyebrows. "What, no and if I even wanted to who would I kiss" I state. "Hmm I don't know, maybe uhm Raven" He says fake thinking. I roll my eyes. "No, Raven and I are just friends" "Boy, you carried her bridal style when she was stabbed" "That doesn't mean anything" I say very quickly.
~Counting down~
10 seconds to go. Still depating if I should actually kiss Raven.
9 seconds, I see every single one of my brothers walk to the person they are going to kiss, except for Judah he's just gonna give Shiloh a hug at 00:00

3,2,1 HAPPY NEW YEAR
Everybody screams and kisses/hugs their person. I quickly pull Raven in by her waist and kiss her. She doesn't kiss back. Fuck. But then she does and relief washes over me. We pull away and I smile while she blushes, a lot. I then turn to wish the rest of my family a happy new year, only to see then gaping at Raven and I, mouths on the ground.
"Happy new year Judah" I say to him and everyone wakes up from their little trans and start wishing each other a happy new year.
~later that night~
"Eli you actually kissed Raven" Josiah exclaims, excited for me. "I did" I said. "Did she kiss back" He asks. Then it hit me. Me eyes widen "She kissed back" I practically scream.
Raven's POV
3,2,1, HAPPY NEW YEAR
Everyone screams and then kisses/hugs their person. Eli pulls me close to him and kisses me. OMFG ELI IS KISSING ME. I takes me a few seconds but I finally kiss him back. When we pull away I see everyone gaping at us. Oh no
~later that night~
Shiloh, Mary, Britney, Michelle and Gala burst into my room. "OMG, OMG OH MY GODDDD, Rea. How did that happen" Shiloh immediatly asks. "I don't know, we were just counting down and he pulled me in and kissed me" I told them. "Yeah, but did you kiss back" "Did you like it" I give them a nowing look, and they all squeel. "Oh my god my otp" "My ship" "Finally"
"Woah, woah. Calm down, it was just a kiss. We're not even together" I tell them quickly. "I know but his is progress" Shiloh says. "Wha- Ok whatever you say... But Michelle, tell me. How was your kiss with Micah" I say. "Wait, Michelle. You kissed Micah" Britney gasped. "Woah he kissed me" She quickly says. "And you didn't tell us" Gala says shocked.
