Raven's POV
"So you're my mother" I say to Evelyn while we are both still crying. "I'm pretty sure yeah" She answers smiling. "The day you were kidnapped. Alarik was chasing me around H.Q. cause I saw him stealing notes and was going to tell Sarah. He chased me around and when I went through the arxis to escape him he didn't follow. When I checked the camera's I saw him going around the compound and going into the room you and Elijah were sleeping in. We both took our kids to H.Q. because your father ran and Sarah's husband had a job and he couldn't take children with him. At H.Q. the boys and Mary, Which is not with Judah and Shiloh yet, they weren't born yet. But the boys and Mary would be in the nest with snacks and tv and games. They could call us when they needed something. Elijah and you were babies and needed nappies. So next to the nest was some sort of baby room. He walked into that room and took you. Then opened the arxis to a different realo, I think Gloomis, since that is where you grew up, and you were gone" She tells me. "That's... some story" I say when she's done. "Yeah it is. I'm sorry but what did you say Alarik called you." Sarah asks. "Raven" I tell them. "That's not what I named you" Evelyn's face turns a little sad. "What did you name me""I named you Diana" Evelyn said. "And what is your last name again." I asked. "Cavendell" "Look I've grown up with the name Raven and I kinda like it, but if your my mother my name would firstly have been Diana Cavendell. Maybe I could legally change it to Raven Diana Cavendell" I said. Evelyn smiled. "I like that" I smiled at her. "Ok but before we can do that we need to get out of here" I stated. "Sweetheart, we've been stuck here for 2 years, we've tried everything" Sarah tells me sadly. "Oh yeah" my face sadened
Elijah's POV
I come back to conciousness with a massive headache. I sit up and look around me. We are all still in the same place. I sit still for a few minutes to get the headache to go away. In those few minutes the rest wakes up. "What happened" Mary asks. "I don't know" I say honestly. I look around. "You all have arrows sticking out of your upper arms" I notice. "You have too" Shiloh states. I pull out. "Aw fuck that hurts" I practically scream. I hear Shiloh chuckle. I glare at her and walk over to her and pull the arrow out of her arm. "Ow HEY" I laugh a little. which makes her laugh too. "Wait a second, where is Raven" I say feeling a little panic wash over me. I look around scanning the ground and looking at everyone to see if one of them is Raven. but she's nowhere to be seen. "She's gone. Again" I say sadly. Everyone's face is a mixture of panic and sadness.
"She's not gone. Well she is not here but she's alive" A person from behind us says. I whip my head around. "What do you mean. Where is she" I walk towards the person. "I don't know where she is. The shadowed eye has her, but no one knows where they are located" They say. "Well how do you know the shadowed eye, whatever it is, has her" I asks. "Look at the arrow you just pulled out of your arm." The person says. I look at the arrow and when I look back up they are gone, what the fuck. "Hey I recognise that logo" Shiloh says. "That was all painted around the arxis when mom and Evelyn were kidnapped" I look back at the arrow. She's right. "and it was on that book, just like the name that man spoke of" She continiued. "You're right" Micah says. "Micah, you've never read a single book in your life" I say. "Oh no I have no idea what book she's talking about, but the logo was painted around the arxis when mom was kidnapped" Micah says. I catch Shiloh's eye. "We need to read that book through" I say. "This also might be a chance to find mom and if it isn't it's our only way to find Raven" I tell the rest. I shouldn't have ignored her, are my only thought when we got back at H.Q.
