Emma's pov

"Hey Mike umm have you seen that blond boy that is always with Ashlyn" I ask Mike the truth was I had been wondering about him for a while "oh yea I think his name is Aiden why" Mike says "I don't know it's just weird like he's always following her and he even walks her to the house when she gets off the bus he's like a lost puppy" I say "well I mean I don't know the kid well but I've talked to him and he seems to care about Ashlyn and he just wants her friendship and she does need friends" Mike says then I remember that Ashlyn went out with "the gang" as she calls them Taylor Tyler Logan Ben and of course Mr smiley or Aiden "hey Ashlyn has been at the mall for a while right" I ask Mike "yea I'll text her and ask what she doing"

Mike: hey trooper are you coming home or sleeping over at someone's house

Ashlyn:

No response that wasn't normal for Ashlyn Mike thought when he got a text from a random number

Mike:first of all her name is Ashlyn if I wanted people to call her ash that's what I would have named her and of course she can call

Ashlyn's pov

Aiden hands me the phone "hey dad" I say "hey trooper what do you need" "oh yea dad can I spend the night at Aiden's with the gang". I hear my dad go quiet before saying "sure umm but there is one thing you need to tell me first is Aiden like more than...your friend" is he really asking dam it why do I feel like this I feel my face go red "uhhh what no why would you ask that" I hear my dad chuckle and say "don't do anything I wouldn't do and put that boy on the phone first"
I hand Aiden the phone and he says "yes I do sir" and then his face goes pale he hangs up the phone looking like he's actually scared "your dads scary"h
