A neighbor across the street in a run down apartment asked Miss Circle for help with cleaning and dusting the place since her sister moved out of the place unexpectedly. With winter break rolling in, Circle didn't mind helping out. Besides she had nothing to do anyways.  No stress! Right..? 

Circle knew her but not much as she never came out of the building. The person who asked Miss Circle was the woman's granddaughter, she said quote

"Hey uh- I don't mean to bother but most of the neighbors declined my offer but- my grandmother needs help with her apartment. It's pretty run down.. I need someone to help clean it if that's okay..?"

Circle didn't do it herself, She sent Oliver to do it and of course his two best friends Zip and Edward wanted to tag along, Since they don't really have anything to do. The Three walked over to the apartment expecting this to be very easy and quick- perhaps getting paid after?

Zip: hmmm! Helping an old lady out doesn't seem that bad, maybe she'll pay us after.

Zip seemed excited about this. Edward just hoped she had cookies and Oliver was just using his vape the whole walk doubting she'll pay them a nickel for it.

Oliver: meh I doubt it. For fucksakes she's like in her 80s. she'll probably forget to pay us anyways.

Oliver said in his usual nonchalant and uncaring tone. The only reason why he was doing this is because Circle forced him to not that he wanted to. He would rather walk to 7-Eleven with Edward and Zip than clean some old lady's house

Edward: I'm just hungry ngl.

The trio made it to the apartment. They remembered that it was on the third floor so they took the crummy elevator. Zip doesn't like elevators in the state of the building which made it even worse. The building put all three of them on edge but they continued it anyways. Looking for the room, number 303 in the hallway. they finally found it at the end of the hallway with the sticky note "doors open! Cleaning supplies in the kitchen :)"

Edward: creepy..

Zip: Don't say that! It looks creepy but it might be nice inside.

Oliver: Zip stop lying to yourself.

When they entered they were hit with a puny smell. Like if flesh was rotting. The whole setting of the apartment was just creepy and the dim dirty yellow light didn't help either. The floor was extremely dirty like it hadn't been swept in ages. The walls were covered in dirt and dried substance specs,  Zip even pointed out on the kitchen counter was the small tiny colony of cockroaches in the sink. Looking into the living room was far worse than the kitchen. The couch looked worn out and the TV was all static. The lights flickered. It was just horrible they didn't even want to go into the bathroom or the bedroom. How could an old lady live in these types of conditions?
