Red's POV
"You just broke a law, and that means OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!" My mom said. "NOO!" I said screaming off the top of my lungs as the guards grabbed Chloe dragging her somewhere.
I tried to run after her but the guards grabbed me to restraining me to go after Chloe. When she disappeared from my sight I dropped to my knees and cried. I cried so hard I passed out.
I woke up in my bed, I thought it was all a dream till i see the guards packing up Chloe's things. That's when it hit me that it was in fact not a dream. I started crying again then the door opened. I saw Cinderella and charming walk in. I sat up and ran to them.
"I'm so sorry, I should have stopped my mother. I should have stopped Chloe, I should've-" i started crying again then Cinderella hugged me. "It's okay Red it's not your fault.
Qoh is at fault, she is the on who is killing my daughter but there is nothing we can do about it." Cinderella said as tear fell down her eyes.
"I'm so sorry." I said crying harder in her arms. "Shh don't cry Red everything will be okay i promise." She said hugging me tight. she hugged me for a while until we heard my mom voice over the intercom. "Everyone meet in the garden rn!" My mom said before it cut off.
"Red everything will be fine just breathe and everything will be okay." Cinderella said pulling away from the hug and walking to the garden. When we got there the garden my mom was already there playing with her cards, next to her was the guillotine.
I swallowed hard.I hate that I might have to see the love of my life beheaded today. I walked to seat in the back when my mom motioned me to come to the front of the stage with her.
I walked up with my head down looking at the ground trying not to cry. "Red pick your head up! Queens never cry." My mom said bluntly flicking her cards making guards appear.
After a 5 minutes the garden was packed with people, looking confused and also scared at what could happen. Soon some guards walked in with Chloe, her arms were tied behind her back and she looked numb. Behind her was Uma and Fairy godmother also tied up walking towards the stage.
"Good afternoon everyone, you are looking at your new ruler of wonderland and today you will witness your first beheading. Bring her to the front guards." My mom said bring Chloe to the front putting her head in the hole. "This little girl raised her voice at me and even pulled a sword out on me. How rude is that?"
My mom said acting hurt. "She was being super disrespectful and even got my daughter to believe in love. Love is fake and i know that for a fact." My mom said walking over to Chloe and closing the hatchet.
"Any last words little girl?" My mom asked Chloe.
"Red come here." Chloe told me As i walked towards her. "Red I love you so much. I want you to move on in life. Don't let me hold you back, I fell in love with you the first time I saw you. Other people were scared of you and didn't like you cause you shut people out but I saw through you and i knew you were the one. I showed you how love felt and treated you like the queen you are. You treated and helped me through so much and you didn't even know it. There was something about you that drew me closer to you. You brightened my day everytime you kissed me, everytime you smiled and every you said you loved me. I'm sorry that out story has to end like this but just know you can always look at the watch and see me."
Chloe said crying a little. I cried hard falling to my knees crying. "That was a wonderful speak, too bad that's your last words little girl.
The guards came a released the blade making Chloe's head drop to the ground. i was mortified. I started screaming crying. I was trying to go up to her but my mom walked in front of me. "People you love always leave you. Love ain't it" the queen said before dismissing everyone and walking away.
When everyone was gone it was just me. I went up to Chloe's body crying so hard. I felt a pair of hands on my back and say Ella and Bridget behind me, they hugged me tight. Shushing me telling me that they're sorry.
I was so broken and hurt, I was replaying her speak and remembered what she said "you can always look at the watch and see me" it made no sense but then it clicked.
I could go back in time and save Chloe. I can see her again and everything will be okay. I got up running away from Bridget and Ella. Once I got to our dorm I ran to my closet throwing things and moving things out the way till I saw the gold watch shinning in the light.
U grabbed it and held it to my heart. "Chloe you're so smart" I said to myself as tears ran down my face again. I put my thumb on the button about to press it when Bridget and Ella walked into my room huffing and puffing.
"Omg you're okay, we thought you were gonna jump out the window or something." Ella said running to me but stopping when she saw the watch.
"Red what's that?" Bridget said walking towards me getting a closer look. I took a deep breath gathering my words, "it's a Time Machine, I'm going to go back in time and save Chloe."
I said with puffy eyes and my voice barely above a whisper. "Does it actually work?" Ella said running her finger on the glass.
"Yes it does, Chloe and I used it before." They looked at each other then back at me. "Okay, but we are coming with you. You aren't doing this alone." Bridget said putting a hand on my shoulder and Ella putting a hand on my other shoulder.
"Are you sure? This could be dangerous and we don't know when we are going." I said giving them a heads up. "Yes we are positive." They said at the same time giving me a smile. "Alright here goes nothing" I said as I pressed the button
I will save you Chloe, I will do everything in my power to get us back together. Even if that means me dying or something worse. i will stop at nothing.
