Chloe's POV
Red and I stepped out of our dorm and walked to where are parents would be. I looked at Red to see her fidgeting with her hands walking towards the garden. I grabbed Reds hand and interlocked our hand's.
We walked to the garden to see my mom and dad sitting next across from them was Qoh and some guy with purple hair. when Red saw the guy she immediately let go of my hand and ran up to him "MADDOX" Red called out running and hugging the guy, "nice to see you too Red." Maddox said hugging her back.
"Hey sweetheart." My mom said to me calling me over. I went to her and gave her a hug and a kiss on the check before going over to my dad and doing the same. "How have you guys been holding up?" Qoh said as Red and I sat down next to each other.
"We're doing pretty good." Red said looking towards me smiling. "That great,I was hoping Maddox and I could spend some time together with Red and come back to have dinner with you guys before we have to head back." Qoh said.
I looked towards Red and she looked nervous. "Yea we can hang, I don't mind." I gave her hand a squeeze before she got out and followed her mom. "Alright we are off, we will meet back at the diner in 3 and a 1/2 hours." Qoh said walking away with Maddox and Red.
Reds POV
I was got up and started walking with my mom and Maddox. I was just nervous. What if my mom turns back evil because I'm dating Chloe? What if she doesn't
approve of it and chops off my head! Or even worse Chloe's head? I felt a hand on my shoulder which snapped me out of my thought. I looked towards Red see Maddox looking at me with a little concern in her eyes.
"Red are you alright?" I looked him in the eyes and sighed. "Yea I'm okay just a little nervous." He looked confused, "nervous about what?" He asked me, that's when I realized what I said. "Nothing just the norm." I said almost bumping into my mom. "We're here"
She said walking into the little coffee shop. Coffee huh? I never had it but I'll give it shot, we walked in and ordered out drinks. Maddox got a black coffee with extra creamer, I got a chocolate latte, and my mom got a hot coffee with 3 pumps we of vanilla and some other stuff but I wasn't listening.
We got our drinks and went to go sit down at a table by the window. I sat by myself while Maddox and Qoh sat next to each other. "So Red how is everything coming along?" My mom asked taking a sit of her coffee. "Everything is going pretty smoothly. I made a couple of friends and Chloe has been pretty nice." I said nervously shifting in my seat. "Oo thats good, I'm glad you're having fun and meeting new people.
" I smiled that didn't quite reach my eyes. "So red have you met your price yet to rule wonderland with you?" I froze, " Maddox let's not talk about that, Red is independent and love ain't it." My mom said catching me off guard, did my mom just say love ain't it? She said that to me during orientation a few weeks ago before me and Chloe went back in time.
"Mom what did you just say?" I asked her scared for her response. "I didn't say anything sweetheart." My mom said smiling taking another sip of her coffee. I let out a breath I didn't even know i was holding. I nodded my head and continued to drink my latte.
"Alright Red we are going shopping, you need something else to wear. I don't need you embarrassing me." My mom said chuckling and getting up to walk to the door and we followed suit.
We walked to the mall and we walked in a few stores. My mom let me pick what I was going to get but she kept saying everything looked bad and I would embarrass her. I don't know what happening but she kinda started to change and this is making more anxious about telling her about Chloe and I.
I found this leather black skirt with hearts on it and this shirts that off the shoulders. I picked it up to get a closer look at it, I honestly didn't like it. It wasn't really my style. "Yes Red, that's the outfit. Get that one!" My mom said grabbing it from my hand paying for it.
I just accepted it and walked out the store while Maddox carried my stuff. "We have half an hour before we have to go to the dinner with the Charming's." My mom said rolling her eyes. What's up with her? She is so different ever since Maddox brought up if I found a prince or not.
I'm thinking about this way too much about this. "Red I know you hear me talking to you." My mom said with a hint of anger and annoyance in her voice. "Yea sorry, what did you say?" She huffed, "I said we have a 30 minutes before we go eat with the charming's so we are going to head back to the door so you can get ready." my mom said, i nodded my head and we started walking back.
We arrived at the dorm and I only had 35 minutes to get ready because Maddox took so long in the bathroom, "hurry Red and get ready, I DON'T like being late." She told be sitting on the sofa. "Alright just give me 10 mintues." I said walking to the bathroom with my clothes, a towel, and A rag.
I got in the bathroom , shower, brushed by teeth, did a little make up and put on my clothes. Now I'm stuck on my hair. I currently have it went so it super wavy, but i also could straighten it but that would take way too long. I decided to just wear it wavy, after I was done I stepped out the bathroom.
"Wow Red you look decent for once." My mom said picking up her keys and walking towards the door. "Don't listen to her Red you know shes joking and you always look great." Maddox said, I smiled a little. We got in the car and started driving to the restaurant. We arrived and it looked nice, I stepped out the car, here goes nothing.
I'm going to tell my mom, Maddox, and the charming's me and Chloe are dating. My mom is nice now, Chloe's parents are really supportive and I think Maddox already knows. Nothing bad could happen, everything will go smoothly
At least i hope so.
