She sits in the livingroom on the sofa. And sips on her coffee. A bad habit she had ever since she was 15.
Not the best way she could handle things but a way to handle.
A healthier way than smoking. Because she has done that before.
Her girlfriend- no her fiancé didn't like it when she smokes.

Speaking of which, the shprter brunette leans against the mean red head. She is asleep. How couldn't she be. It is 3am after all. They fell asleep together and the older one had to get up again.
She couldn't really sleep...
Her thoughts kept her busy.

Thoughts of her and Autumn. Her younger sister...
The girl she was meant to protect.
The girl she loved more than anyone.
The young adult who was crying in her prom dress.
The woman she lost in that exact night.
The woman she misses more than anything right now.

She cafefully takes the picture again and strokes over their younger versions. She would give everything to be back with Autumn.
She wants to be the babys Auntie and protect it as much as she physically can.
She wants to make up for ever, thing Autumn couldn't have.

Her brunette fiancé stirrs and turns away with soft mumbles which makes the mean red heads heart melt. She can't stop herself from staring at her and admiring her girl.

Charlotte is the proof she needs.
She is the proof that the red head isn't just mean.
She is the proof that the red head deeply cares about her loved ones.
She is the proof of the red heads comforting aura.

It's 3:28 in the morning by now and still the red heads mind is not quieting down.
She gets up again with her phone and makes herself another coffee.
As she sits on the sofa she once again scrolls through the old chats with her sister.

She sees their changes...
From happy chatty to we barely talk anymore...
Mia gets silent again.
It was her fault, wasn't it?
She knew that the old rat wanted exactly that. And yet she did it.

And then: "Aut, online."
Why is she awake at this time?
Is she having trouble to sleep?
Doesn't Winter know?
Should she just text her?
She cuddles up against her stuffed animal dog while deciding what to do next. He is called Dashie. She owns him ever since they were children, Autumn gave it to her after the old rat took her old one away.
A guard dog. Just like her sister is now. She loves the stuffie that perfectly portraits her sister.

Little did she know, that on the other side of the phone it looks the exact same...

Autumn is in her 5th month of pregnancy now. And her baby is growing strongly.
But that also means that they are kicking more and moving around.
And those kicks... they are strong.
Just like their mothers.

And with her baby growing, her anxiety grows aswell.
What if she won't be a good mother?
What if she will use the baby too?
What if she'll be like the old rat?
What if...

And just like that she left the bedroom. She couldn't keep Winter up much longer, he is on the early shift tomorrow.

She sits in the livingroom, a cup of wildberry tea. Two cubes of sugar. A bit of milk.
She loves this combination.
It might sounds disgusting but it is the best and most comforting thing.
She always made it for her.
She, her big and beloved sister.
Mia... oh she misses her.
She misses the mean red head.
She misses the soft red head.
The loving red head.
Her big sister the red head.

Oh her lap is a black cat, he is softly purring and she strokes through his soft and silky furr.
It's funny how much the cat fits her sisters personality.
He hates everyone. But he has a soft spot for his special human beings.
She also knows that Mia pretends to like being alone. But deep inside all she wants is being surrounded by people. People she loves.
Caddie is a big strong pretender, he always growls, demanding his space.
But as soon as his family is around he will always stay close.
