(Quick Authors note BEFORE we dive into it, this play in a paralell universe, please don't come at me, thank you! Also, this is fluff filled! And it also got spicy, sorry, I couldn't stop myself.)

The 25th of december has something magical for everyone at the nursery. Sorscha, Charlotte, Autumn and lets not forget Marjorie.

Today is a half day and some parents- well no, actually just Geraldine still seems to have a problem with that.

"But Charlotte! Honestly how should I manage! You have half the day off now and us parents?! We have so much christmas shopping and wrapping to do! And you?! You have a day off!"

"Geraldine. This nursery has always made the 25th a half day. And we all have families to care about too. In addition we worked the first half of the day." Charlotte says being completely done with her.

"Yes?! And, we only have until 1pm. Do you think that is enough time?! Honestly I pay your wages and I expect you to take care of my child!"

Charlotte has to take some very VERY deep breathes to control herself. She is a professional after all so she can't let that get too close.

Just as she wants to answer a figure appears behind her.

"And she has just told you that the teachers have a family too.
Oh and by the way, you're only paying for this half day. And before you say anything else- of I'd be you, I would leave now. Or else you'll lose even more of your precious time.
Merry christmas, Geraldine."

Char smiles widely, if someone can cool her down then Mia.
And seeing Geraldines face drop is everything Charlotte needed.

"Very well. Non merry christmas!"
The woman with light orange hair leaves quickly.

"Merry Christmas Charlotte!"
Henry calls and runs behind his mum.

"Amelia!"
"Hello baby."

Char wraps her arms around Mias waist and kisses her softly.
Mia wraps her arms around Charlotte and smiles happily.

"Are you ready for our christmas? Our first christmas."

"Yes, very ready, Mia... but... it will feel empty too... I am afraid."
It is Chars first christmas without her children too. And this is the hardest part of their divorce. She knows her exhusband will make her girls day unforgetable. But she will miss them the entire evening.

Mia on the other hand had other plans, she lifts her girlfriend up, bridal style and kisses her.
"We will make the best of it and prepare everything for the 26th and make it your girls bestest christmas."

"You always know what to say" Charlottes eyes light up and she smiles widely.

"Come on, lock up. I want to finally get you home." Mia lets her down and claps her behind softly.

Char blushes and quickly locks up the preschool room.
She says Merry christmas to Sorscha, Marjorie and Autumn and they drive off.

"Here you go baby!"
Mia leads Char into a perfectly decorated home and it smells fantastic already.

"You cooked?!"
Mia nods and smiles widely.
"I just fell in love with you even more than ever."

Mia smirks and pushes Charlotte against the door. "Let's have a nice christmas together sweetheart."
She kisses the shorter brunette woman and her hands wander to her scarf.

"My precious girl... I bought something else, for tomorrow."
She leads the younger one in the kitchen and shows her the four ginger bread houses.

Charlottes smile widens and she kisses Mia again.
"You are wonderful..."
