"So....she likes Pink Colour, huh?" Bambam, one of my friends asks, his hands wandering across the set of wedding rings presented infront of us.

"Yeah." I nod, looking across the rings for the right one, for my girlfriend, I'm gonna propose her this weekend.

"How about this one?" Mingyu, my other friend asks, there is a big ass diamond ring sitting between his fingers as if my girlfriend is also a giant like him, (Jungkook isn't any smaller than Mingyu tho).

"Dude, that would fit her wrist not finger." I scoff, giving him a dirty look while he just looks down at the ring in confusion, "But-" "Are you three really buying the wedding ring now?" The last one who we dragged without his will, speaks up, a look of disbelief of his face.

"Jungkook, your father simply rejected your girlfriend right infront of her nose." Enwoo deadpans, giving me a glare. He is right. My father did say that to my girlfriend directly, but do I care about his opinion?

My father didn't like Areum, I don't know the exact reason for it neither he is willing to explain but just let out a simple no and left me alone in his study room with the woman I love and choose as if we were not even a bother to him.

I won't take no as an answer and I know I'll make him agree by throwing my tantrums so here I am, with my three friends buying the wedding ring, next week we're gonna choose the place where I'm gonna get marry my girlfriend.

"We all know that Jungkook will marry Areum in the end, why bother about this traditional family rejection?" Bambam shrugs, once again turning his attention back to the rings as Mingyu nods along.

I stare at Enwoo for a moment before turning my attention back to the rings too, "It's her or no one, Enwoo yah. I will marry her no matter what." I speak, determined to make her mine, I love her so much that it hurts to even think about her, to leave her, even tho it's the sake of my own family. But I wanna be selfish. For her, for us.

My determination broke the moment when I went back to her house after choosing the right ring. Her apartment is locked, I fish out my mobile and notice that she didn't receive my text earlier either. Something feels off as I dial her number immediately, but she didn't attend my call.

Confusion and concern fill me as I repeat calling her for a worth of 10 minutes then I decide to wait there. It's past 8 PM, she would be here at home after finishing her shift which ends at 6PM itself. Normally she would be calling me once her shift ends and talks about her day and all only to beg me to come and get her, then we go out or stay at her apartment that's our routine.

Her tiny apartment is where I feel like home even though I have number of mansions and villas under my own freaking name. Just today only, I asked her to go home by herself since I went to buy the ring for our wedding.

Is she mad?

I sigh, crouching down infront of her door. I can't help but get worried about her.

Is she alright?

Did something bad happen to her?

Where is she now?

I dial her number once again but she didn't attend my call this time too. I didn't realize I was dozing off until someone shook my shoulder slightly.

"Sir..." I snap my eyes open, standing up immediately only to find a concerned watchman infront of me.

"Sir...it's 1 AM, I noticed you through the camera and came to check on you. Can you please leave, it's morning already?" He asks, I look at the closed door again, she doesn't come back yet?

"Sir, what happened to the woman in this apartment? She doesn't come back yet, I'm her boyfriend. I'm just worried about her." I speak, my voice is already breaking at the worry and fear I'm going through now.

The watchman furrows his eyebrows before looking at the door number before he takes out the bunch of key, he is handling, "This apartment..." he trails before finding the key, "The woman in this apartment moved to other place...just this morning." He speaks, glancing back at me.

My mind is drawing blank as I stare at him for a moment, "E-Excuse me?". His gaze turns into pity as he pushes the key inside the keyhole before twisting it, "Well sir, Lee Areum from this apartment moved from this place, yesterday morning." He pushed the door open, I finally process his words as I push past him, hurry inside the apartment.

My eyes widen in disbelief and hurt as I look around the-now empty apartment. The space is just empty. All of her belongings are gone. I can feel my breathe getting caught in my lungs, my eyes tearing up before I movesover to her bedroom and to the other room, empty, empty, empty.

As if she just disappeared from my life without any trace. My heart grew heavy as my knees gave out, I feel on my knees, I can feel my tears rolling down. "S-Sir?!" The watchman hurries, helping me to stand by I can't, "N-No...this can't be happening." I mutter, heaving out of breathe.

"Sir....please just calm down." He rubs my back, my mind doesn't processing his words, all I can think about her. "Breathe. Sir, breathe please." He says, my head begins to spin then the next moment, everything becomes void.
