THIRD PERSON POV

Y/n sprinted through the university corridors, the echo of her hurried footsteps bouncing off the polished floors. Her bag jostled against her side as she clutched it tightly, her chest rising and falling in a frantic rhythm. The morning had already unraveled into chaos—she'd overslept. Staying up late with Jhoana and Stacy, enduring their relentless teasing about Mikha, had proven to be a terrible idea. Now, she was running late for the student council meeting, and the weight of her tardiness pressed down on her.

When she reached the student council office, Y/n paused to collect herself, though her flushed cheeks and wild hair betrayed her effort. With a quick breath, she pushed open the door.

The lively chatter inside abruptly ceased, replaced by a deafening silence as dozens of eyes turned her way.

"I'm sorry I'm late. It won't happen again," Y/n said quickly, her voice low. She bowed her head, willing the heat rising in her face to subside.

Belle, the ever-composed student council president, offered her a small, forgiving smile. "It's fine, Y/n. We've just started. Take a seat."

Y/n exhaled in relief and hurried to an empty chair near Rajo. She slid into the seat, still catching her breath, when Rajo leaned in, his expression as amused as ever.

"You look like you just rolled out of bed," he teased, his grin widening as he took in her disheveled state.

Y/n groaned softly, smoothing her hair in a futile attempt to look presentable. "I overslept," she admitted, her voice a hushed whisper. "I didn't even hear my alarm this morning."

Rajo's eyes sparkled with mischief. "Let me guess—late-night talks with Mikha?" He wiggled his eyebrows for dramatic effect, clearly enjoying her discomfort.

Y/n's cheeks flared red at the implication. The mere mention of Mikha was enough to make her heart stumble, let alone the idea of having late-night conversations with her. "No," she hissed defensively. "Jhoana and Stacy wouldn't stop bugging me about her. They kept saying I should do something about how I feel before someone else does."

Rajo chuckled softly, leaning back in his chair with a knowing smirk. "Well, they're not wrong," he said, his tone light but pointed. "You might want to keep an eye on Jaz—she seems pretty interested."

Y/n froze. The casual remark sent an unexpected jolt through her chest, her thoughts spinning. She opened her mouth to respond, but the words didn't come. Rajo's grin widened as he watched her flustered reaction, clearly pleased with himself.

Before she could dwell further on his words, Belle's authoritative voice cut through the tension.

"Alright, everyone," Belle began, her tone commanding as she addressed the room. "The Talents and Arts Festival is coming up, and we need to finalize the plans..."

Y/n tried to focus, but Rajo's words lingered, gnawing at the edges of her mind. The idea of someone else vying for Mikha's attention unsettled her. She shook her head slightly, forcing herself to concentrate on the discussion.

Later, Y/n found herself balancing carefully on the step ladder, pinning up posters for the Talents and Arts Festival. The event details were meticulously outlined on each sign, encouraging students to participate in contests ranging from debates to art exhibitions. Behind her, Jhoana and Stacy were locked in their usual playful banter.
