THIRD PERSON POV

The auditorium buzzed with excitement as the competition came to an end, but Y/n hardly noticed the noise. Her performance had been a blur of lights, music, and emotions she had poured into every word of the song. Now, backstage, she could still hear the echoes of the crowd's applause, yet her mind was consumed with only one thought: Mikha.

Y/n leaned against the wall, taking a deep breath to steady her racing heart. She couldn't believe she'd done it—not just performed, but shared a part of herself she'd kept hidden. It felt both exhilarating and terrifying.

As Y/n and Gwen walked toward the seats where their friends had been watching, Jhoana was the first to spot them. "Y/n!" she called out, her voice full of excitement. Their entire friend group, gathered at the same spot they had been in earlier, buzzed with energy.

Before Y/n could even process, Jhoana wrapped her in a tight hug, followed by Maloi, Stacy, Sheena, and Colet. In no time, they were all in a group hug, laughing and celebrating together.

"You were amazing!" Stacy beamed, her eyes sparkling with admiration. "Seriously, you blew everyone away!"

"Everyone was shocked you could sing!" Sheena teased, grinning.

"Best performance of the night," Maloi chimed in, playfully nudging Y/n's shoulder.

"Don't forget about us once you're famous!" Jhoana joked, causing the whole group to burst into laughter.

Y/n blushed, her smile shy but wide as she chuckled. "Thanks, guys. I'm so happy you were there cheering me on."

"Of course, we wouldn't miss it for the world!" Stacy said, her grin only growing bigger.

"So we've heard from a certain red head that the song was about her," Colet smirked, crossing her arms with a playful glint in her eyes.

Y/n's face turned a deeper shade of red. "I... I don't know what you're talking about," she mumbled, though her voice lacked conviction.

"Oh, come on," Gwen teased, winking at her.

"You literally poured your heart out on stage," Stacy added, side-eyeing Jhoana with a playful hint. "I was kinda jealous—hope someone would do the same for me."

Everyone caught on and burst into laughter, knowing exactly what Stacy was hinting at. The group continued to chat excitedly about the performance and the banner they had made for Y/n, their voices filled with energy and pride. They also made sure to shower Gwen with compliments, praising her impressive guitar skills that had added an extra layer of magic to the performance.

But as the conversation carried on, they noticed Y/n's gaze shifting around the room, her eyes darting from one corner to the other, clearly searching for someone.

"Looking for someone?" Jhoana asked, her smile knowing and mischievous.

Y/n froze, her face turning an even deeper shade of red. She didn't answer right away, her eyes scanning the room, searching for one person in particular—Mikha.

"She's waiting for you in the hallway," Colet said with a teasing glint in her eyes.

"Go on, this is your chance," Stacy encouraged, giving Y/n a gentle nudge.

Y/n hesitated, her heart thudding in her chest, but her friends weren't letting her off the hook. With a playful shove, they sent her toward the hallway, their cheers and laughter echoing in her ears as she walked away. Her every step was a mix of excitement and nervousness, the weight of the moment making her heart race.

She found Mikha in the quiet corner of the hallway, leaning against the wall with her arms crossed. The moment Mikha saw her, she straightened, her eyes softening with a warmth that made Y/n's chest ache.
