Callie paced across the roof of the club, biting her nail nervously, going over what she would say in her head.

"Hey, Charlie, so you know how Caleb is kind of a sicko and can possess people, among other things? Well, he's also my father, and I think I may have gotten the ability to possess people as well."

It wasn't going too well.

She was mentally cursing her inner voice just as the older man poofed onto the roof a few feet behind her, his head immediately tilting at the stressed look on her face.

"Calypso? What-"

"Shh, just sit down... Please." Callie says, waving a hand at him. He's surprised, but listens, sitting on the edge, facing her.

"Callie? Darling, what's wrong?" He says, softer this time.

Callie sucks in a breath, folding her hands in front of her mouth as she blows it out. "Look, I'm trying to tell you a bunch of things, and I'm trying to... Figure out how to say them."

Charlie furrows his brows, nodding as she decides to sit by him. "Okay...?"

Callie blows out another breath, before inhaling. "So... I'm... Caleb's daughter." She says quickly and softly.

The man simply scoffs. "Yeah, I know."

What? Callie looks at him, her brows furrowed on confusion now.

Charlie seems to realize what he said, because his eyes widen, as if he made a mistake. "Ah... You look similar. And... I figured Calypso seemed like a name Caleb would give you. Extravagant, and... Stuff." He mumbles.

That... Was suspicious.

Callie simply nods slowly, before shaking her head. "Whatever. So... I talked to Reggie the other day, right? And... After we talked, I was... Looking at this girl, and the next thing I knew... I was... In her?" She shakes her head. "I don't know how to describe it."

"You... You think you possessed her?"

Callie nods slowly, looking at the man. "I think so."

Charlie smiles, leaning in. "Do you know what this means? We can get out of here."

Callie smiles back, nodding again. "Yeah, I know. Me, you, the guys, we can-"

"The guys? You mean, Reggie and his friends?" He says, brows furrowing in confusion and annoyance.

She shakes her head. "I mean... Yeah, of course. The sooner we get away from Caleb, the better." Callie scoffs. "Thought you'd be happy about Reggie, considering I saw the two of you sucking face a while ago."

He scoffs. "Reggie and them don't work here.  They don't need to be escaping, not when..." He sighs, shaking his head. "Sometimes I feel like I'm being punished by working here."

"Yeah, trust me, we all do."

"It's different for ghosts like us, Calypso." Charlie says firmly, looking at her with a certain determination in his eyes.

Callie furrowed her brows again, shaking her head. "Different... How?" She mumbled.

"You really don't know, do you?" His voice is harsher than she'd ever heard it before, it almost made her recoil, but she stayed firm in her posture. "You don't get it."

"I'm afraid I'm going to need you to elaborate." She says flatly, her gaze hardening.

Charlie sighs, shaking his head as he moved to kneel in front of her. "You're a possession ghost, Callie. It's in your DNA, Caleb is a possession ghost as well. It's what makes Caleb so powerful... You so powerful..." He says, smiling softly, but there was no real softness in it. "Me so powerful."
