If I could improve on spiderman two I would change many things. Get rid of some things and also improve on some things and things I would add to make this game seem all the better.
For one I would get rid of the Web wings. Don't get me wrong,I loved the Web wings and they were great for chasing around cars and getting to places faster but it kinda defeats the purpose of being a game about web slinging and just being spiderman in general. But if I wasn't going to get rid of it,I would at least make it an item to buy with at least ninety hero tokens and at the cost of fifty rare tech tokens.
It's only fair right?
Secondly I would flesh the symbiote arc out a lot more as in I'd at best make the arc around three hours and make Peter go a lot more too far. Those attempts of going too far in the insomniac game was just pathetic. He didn't even seriously injure anyone or stop holding back.
Back in web of shadows,Spiderman ripped wolverine In half to get the symbiote out of him after beating the juiced up shortie.
And that's what we needed to see. Watching spiderman go too far and actually be more aggressive,serious and brutal but I guess in today's standards we can't hurt people's little feelings anymore. Which I find fucking pathetic in so many ways.
Another thing I would also change is the MJ missions. Why would i want to play as this red headed ungrateful bitch who should have been drowned at birth? For one MJ is fucking Ugly! And I mean ugly!
I know I've mentioned that before but come on. And I think Mj should be replaced by Black cat. It should have been black cat way before MJ because the people Peter fights take multiple punches and throwing around and MJ just uses a Tazer and she's knocking them out?! What the fuck kinda plot armour bullshit is that?! But I guess since she's an ugly woman,she can pretty much get away with anything she wants.
To be honest,the black cat mission felt kinda pointless. Warn her that Kraven was after her,when she was already aware and on her way out to go to Paris to help her girlfriend? Why was I spending twenty minutes chasing her around just for her to leave? And she feels kinda underutilised.
You could do so many good things with Black cat if you could write her and Peters relationship correctly as well as her character. And she and Peter have so much chemistry together,way more than Mj ever could have.
Another thing I noticed in the second came is that. They made Black cat less sexy. Just look at this image.

Another thing I would change is Venom's vulnerability to sound. His most famous weakness of which we all know and love. I do love that he's immune to fire but if you are gonna make him immune to fire at least make him that a lot more weaker to sounds.
If you have played the game then you can see that the sonic burst were more of an annoyance rather than actually causing any meaningful damage to Venom and I can see why he would build up the tolerance but come on. He was just way too buffed up and tolerant to his very weakness. While we're on the topic of Venom,I would give two more attacks to give him four special attacks much like Peter and Miles have.
One would be called 'Symbiote Detonaion." What this attack would be is where Venom suddenly covers himself in a great amount of his biomass which shapeshifts him into a giant spikey sphere which will explode on command. The longer you hold this attack,the bigger the sphere gets and the bigger the blast will be but the downside to this ability is that it would be the longest to recharge and if do make the sphere as big as an entire room then you can damage yourself. This ability would be incredibly destructive to your enemies and yourself if you can't manage the sphere build up.
The second attack I would add would be called "Symbiote Fury." This attack is much like the Symbiote punch but unlike the Symbiote punch,this ability doesn't stick people to walls or hit them with a lot of force.
This ability make several tendrils whack multiple enemies at once and even smashing them into the ground,making it an effective defence ability but the further away the enemy,the weaker the hit would be and this ability is more of a single target attack.
The final thing I would give Venom would be much like the Symbiote surge when we play as Peter but this would be called Symbiosis. What this would do is make Venom grab multiple enemies and quickly turn them into hosts for symbiotes. Making them your allies until the fight is over and you can only pick up ether four or three enemies for this attack. This would turn the people in Venom's grasp into symbiotes to aid him in battle but the symbiotes would have weak health but strong attacks.
Another thing I would also add is that,when Venom puts the meteorite together and the environment becomes more symbiote infested much like how it is in the normal game,what i would do to make the environment much more tedious to traverse. Swinging tendrils would threaten to knock you out of the sky and would have you to keep on your toes when you swing around and whenever you web zip,you would be swarmed by winged Symbiotes to who can shoot projectile biomass at you from a long distance to make sure that you know that New York is no longer yours anymore and that the Symbiotes are here to take over.
One other thing I would also do is make Mj more sexy and actually write her with a personality and give her depth to her character. If anyone has played the new spiderman games then you would know that Mj is about as pretty as a deformed bulldog.
And she just looks more flat than a sheet of paper in terms of attractiveness. She needs some bigger tits and a bigger ass for fuck's sake.
One thing I would definitely do is this.
I would give players the option to play as Venom and free roam around the city and devastate criminals left right and centre but what I would do is make players work for the reward to play as Venom. What I would want players to do to unlock Venom would be to complete the game on the hardest difficultly and get a hundred percent on a game play and then you are free to explore the city with Venom,play the story as Venom and pretty much do anything you can do in the came with Venom.
