"Look at her...." I muttered under his breath, his voice tight with barely concealed anger.

"Smiling, looking so damn happy. I hate it, it's fucking infuriating..."

I leaned against a wall, watching the two of them from across the room. They had been dancing, seemingly blissfully ignorant of the world around them.

I gritted his teeth for a moment, my gaze filled with anger and irritation.

My eyes narrowed as I watched them dance some more, my thoughts venomous and dangerous.

"I thought she would've been dead by now..." I muttered, my voice a low murmur as his gaze locked on her

"Did they decide that a bitch like her was useful...?"

He chuckled darkly to himself, then continued, his voice taking on a sinister tone.

"It won't last long... hopefully they'll get rid of her soon...or I'll do it myself"

I watched them for a moment longer, his gaze moving from her to the bastard she was dancing with, then back again.

My eyes narrowed as he thought, a dark plan forming in my mind.

"She probably thinks she's free now..." I murmured, a smirk on my lips.

"Not a chance in hell..."

I then shifted my attention to him, studying him closely.

"He's an obstacle... I need to get rid of him too. But that's impossible... I'm gonna need some help..."

I pulled out my phone and opened it, scrolling through my contacts until I found what I was looking for. I pressed the call button, the smirk still on my lips.

"Just need to call an old friend..." I muttered under my breath, then brought the phone to my ear, waiting for the call to connect.

After a few moments, the call connected. The stranger spoke quietly yet clearly, his voice low enough not to be overheard by anyone nearby.

"Hello..."

Days passed and I couldn't help but notice a change in Anthony's behavior. He seemed distant, distracted.

When he was around me, he seemed aloof, not really present in the moment. I tried to talk to him, but he only gave me short, almost dismissive responses.

It was clear that something was off, and I had a nagging feeling that he was avoiding me. I tried to brush it off, telling herself it was just a phase, but deep down, I was hurt and confused by his behavior.

Each day that passed, I grew more and more frustrated and hurt by Anthony's growing detachment. I tried to ask him about it, but he always seemed to have an excuse or brushed her off.

I didn't understand why he was acting this way. We had shared a kiss, a moment of intimacy that had felt real and important. Now it seemed like that had all been in my head, and he'd already moved on.

I longed to talk to him about it, to understand what was going on in his head and why he was acting so strangely.

But he was so distant and unresponsive these days that I didn't know how to approach the subject without further provoking his cold shoulder.

As the days wore on, I found herself feeling more and more isolated. Anthony's behavior cast a shadow over my entire world, making me question everything that had happened between us.
