Chapter Two

Once we got out of there Mani gave me a death glare look like no other. I haven't seen that thing in years. Her hand suddenly slapped my arm.
"Ow what the hell Mani thats my throwing arm." i said looking at her like she now was the demon with horns.
"What on gods name was that back there Lauren Jauregui!?" she asked angry. I wss shocked but just sighed and let the old me that people know go away.
"Sorry Mani i didn't mean to shock you or anything its just when I'm around the old crowd i tend to you know be the old me and i really am sorry." i told her. The fact that the old Lauren came out scared me and worried me. I used to be Derek's soon to be queen three years ago. We had crushed on each other until i found out that i liked girls instead. Derek flipped but understood. He remained my only trust worthy friend. After that i drifted from the popular crowd like them but i still stayed in what made me in their league.
"Lauren why, why would you be like that you scared me i was afraid that you were gonna go back to the distant cold Lauren do you know how much that scared me to hear you talk like that to hear you speak to me like that to to watch you transform into someone that made me feel bad." she cried. I instantly pulled her into my arms apologizing. We stayed like that for awhile until the five minute bell rang.
"Come on Mani cheer up ok were going to go to class now ok." i said smiling and she nodded. Unfortunitly that ment we had to part ways. Heading to english was ok until i bumped into someone. I gasped silently when it was Camila and she had dropped her books.
"Im so sorry." I apologized bending down and grabbing her, her books. When i went to give her the books she was blushing and saying a quiet thank you. I just smiled. I started to walk away until i heard her utter my name. I turned around to see her looking unsure.
"Yea." i said
"Can you help me find my class Derek said it was over here but he sucks with directions." she asked while smiling.
"Of course anything for a bud of Derek's." i said without thinking. I then grabbed her schedule and my smile grew wider.
"Follow me we have class together." i said and she thanked me yet again. We went to class in a nice silence. I was ok with it but I'm guessing she was uncomfortable because she asked me something made me almost choke.
"Do you like my boyfriend Lauren?" she asked and i sware my eyes widened and i looked shocked.
"God no Derek isn't my type Camila." i said looking at her like she's crazy.
"Whats your type then Lauren?" she asked not knowing what she was getting into.
"I perfer a women over a man." i said staring at her and shock found its way onto her face as well as a nice blush. I smiled at her and just chuckled at her. We went through the door to class and sat down. Dinah the tall sexy girl i met in the cafeteria came over to us and sat down.
"Hey Lauren." she said nicely looking at me with a look.
"Hi Dinah." i said back and then Camila silently gasped i don't think Dinah heard but i did. I ignored it and faced class once the teacher entered the room. She went over the usual on the first day of school. After that we started class. I had for some reason caught Camila every now and then looking at me when i talked to Dinah. She even once glared at her friend when she made me laugh a little. Me and Dinah are just having a nice conversation as friends. I just shrugged it off.
"Hey Lauren there's a party at my place tonight you and Mani are invited." Dinah said randomly and i just nodded and smiled. Camila's face fell.
"Dinah is it ok if i only come Derek has something to do." she said and Dinah nodded instantly you could tell the tall girl didn't like Derek. When class ended i was alone in my next two classes. I was fine but missed the companionship. Once my last class ended before lunch i was ecstatic and ready to go see Mani and Camila. Wait what? No i didn't want to see just Mani and Camila i wanted to see the others too. I sighed where did that come from. I walked to the cafeteria and skipped on lunch i wasn't really hungry today Mani hated it when i did this.
"Lauren!" Mani screamed with a smile on her face.
I laughed and hugged her.
"So guess what the other girls invited us to sit with then." she said happy. I smiled and just hooked my arm with hers.
"Show the way girl." i giggled. I was in a great mood i couldn't wait to see Camila again. Suddenly a very tall person came out of no where and intertwined our fingers. I looked up to see a very sexy smirk on Dinah's face.
"Hey." i said still smiling.
"Hi thought I'd come walk with ya girls." she said walking with us. The closer we got the more excited i was i couldn't wait to see her. It was unbearable like Camila Cabello was my drug.
