Chapter Five

Seeing Camila like that today was heart wrenching i hated it. This girl that i barley knew had such a hold on me and its only been one day. I sighed as i walked out of my last class with Camila on my mind.
"Hey Lauren." a voice i was coming to like said. I turned to see my girlfriend waiting for me at the door to my class. I smiled and walked to her.
"Hey Dinah." i said and she smiled as well. I grabbed her hand and we walked to our lockers which were surprisingly one apart. The locker in the middle was Mani's and the other one to my right is Camila's. And guess what Ally's is right next to hers coincidence i think not i swear Mani needs to stop using her father as the principal to get certian things like this done. I put my stuff away and grabbed my bag. Looking over at my girl she was doing the same exept she looked nervous when she turned to look at me.
"Hey Lauren?" she said.
"Yea." i responded.
"Would you go to the party with me as my date?" she asked blushing. It was pretty on her not as much as Camila but it looked nice. Wait what am i saying this girl is my girlfriend and I'm comparing her to Camila. Thats when i noticed that I've been doing it sense early today. I usually don't think of other people when I'm dating someone or at least i don't anymore. She looked nervous and bothered because i didn't respond. I had a sudden burst of focus go through me. My girlfriend is Dinah so I'll give her all the attention she deserves and forget Camila in the process.
"Babe i would love to." i said using the endearing nickname for a lover for the first time with her. She grinned and hugged me and i hugged her back. Damn she's tall. When we let go she held my hand more easily and we walked to the parking lot. When we got there Mani and Ally were talking. They noticed us and i think Ally almost died from shock. I'm guessing she thought i was joking. I smiled and waved as me and Dinah went over to them. Once there we said hi and i swear Ally was in like a coma or something.
"Ally are you ok?" Dinah asked staring at her. Ally suddenly hugged her and was beaming like no other.
"I knew you'd find someone." she said giggling at her making my girl blush. She told Ally to shut up and glanced at me with embarrassment all over her face. I chuckled and pecked her cheek.
"Your cute when you blush you know that." i told her and a huge aww escaped my friends mouth. I glared at Mani who just winked at me and Dinah and Ally shared a confused look and before i could stop my best friend she started to spill the beans.
"What don't give me that look Lauren i have never seen you so loving and caring i mean before you'd just try and get in their pants but now your actually caring i love it." she praised yet i wished she hadn't said anything because now Dinah was giving me this look and Ally was looking between pissed and confused at the moment. I sighed and walked away with Dinah still holding my hand. Once we got a safe distant away i turned to look at her. She was in deep thought and was very concerned it looked like.
"Babe." i said brushing a strand of hair out of her face. Her eyes moved up to glance at me. We stared at each other before she kissed me softly on the lips. Her hands went to my hips holding me in place as we synced our lips together. She moaned as i traced her bottom lip with my tongue. Before things got heated i pulled away pressing my forhead against hers softly. We caught our breathe and she finally said something.
"I don't care who you used to be baby as long as your loyal and don't use me i trust you." she told me and right when she said that i remembered what i did earlier today with Camila and comparing her to Dinah. I felt guilt wash over me. Not even a whole day in and I'm already being unfaithful to her by having thoughts of Camila. And right on que Camila and Derek show up smiling and goofing around. They saw us and Camila came straight to me. She glanced up at me and hugged me tightly causing me and Dinah to lose our hand holding. I looked down at her and those soft brown chocolate eyes lighted up with warmth.
"Thank you again Lauren." she said and i smiled lightly at her.
"No problem Camz." i dont know why or where it came from but the nickname just slipped and her eyes brightened up at it. She let go and ran back to Derek waving by and smilong even more.
"See you at the party Lo." she called back. The nickname sparked something in me and i felt over joyed that she had a nickname for me. I felt a warm hand slip back into place with mine and saw Dinah still grinning. We walked back to Mani and Ally who were in the car waiting for us. We got in and started to drive to Dinah's. The whole time Mani would give me these weird stares and before i knew it she asked me something.
"So you and Camila getting along?"
"Yea we are." i responded looking out the window.
"Yes i guessed. Hey what was it you called her when she left with Derek?" she asked eyeing the road.
"Camz." i said easily and it felt nice to let it slip off my tongue almost felt natural.
"Wow already have a nickname for her that's surprising it took you what three years before you started calling me Mani?" she stated and i swear now i was glaring at her.
"What is it Mani are you jealous that i gave a nickname to a girl who you wanted me to get along with or is there something thats bothering you?" i asked her bluntly and you could see her visibly flinch. My tone was cold and hard. Don't get me wrong i love her but one thing i hated most was being questioned and she knew that.
"Maybe i am jealous Lauren." she whispered and when she said that we stopped outside of Dinah's place that was already partying and the hostess wasn't even there. I didn't respond i just got out of the car and went up to the house. I need a drink.... Maybe more.
