MAKING THINGS RIGHT

"There they are." Evie says as Ben and Mal, Luke and Marley all walk out while waving and bowing to people. The brothers then lead the twins up to the balcony.

"Ladies Mal and Marley, Luke and I wanna thank you for celebrating our engagements with us today. I couldn't be prouder or happier to call you my Queen." Ben says as he looks at Mal.

"And I am beyond excited to have you as my Princess." Luke says his he kisses Marley's hand.

"So..raise your glasses. To our future Queen and Princess of Auradon." The brothers say with bright smiles.

"To our Queen and Princess of Auradon!" Everyone cheers.

"Speech, your special-ness." Carlos calls as he raises his glass.

"Speech, your fancy ones." Jay calls also raising his glass, causing everyone to laugh.

Marley leans into Luke's side who wraps an arm around her waist. While Mal looks at the Smee twins, Jasper, and Dizzy thinking about how how they would never see their dad, mom, and grandmother again. She thinks of how Celia left because she couldn't be without her dad. She then turns to look at her twin in Luke's arms and tears fill her eyes as she remembers how Marley will never be able to see her best friend again and how heartbroken she has been since Harry left.

Mal looks at Evie, thinking about their dream to give everyone a second chance. Lastly she thinks about Uma and her father and how they helped save Auradon.

"Mal?" Marley asks softly reaching out to gently touch her sister's arm.

Mal smiles gently at her sister, before squeezing her hand and turning to Ben, "I can't. I can't be Queen of Auradon." Causing everyone to gasp in shock.

"Mal?" Ben asks her worriedly.

"I can't turn my back on the Isle." Mal tells him softly while Luke and Marley look at each hopefully.

Mal turns back to the crowd, "We mad a decision to close the barrier forever." Dizzy and the Smee twins look at each other sadly, while Jasper wraps his arm around his best friend pulling her closer to him for comfort, "And it was my idea. But it's wrong. I've learned that you can't live in fear because it doesn't really protect you from anything." Marley moves to Mal's side and grabs her hand, Mal smiles softly at her sister, "You never know where the bad is gonna come from. And you never know where the good is gonna come from either."

"Without Uma and her pirates, Auradon would be gone. And without Hades..." Mal starts before gulping slightly scared on how people are going to react.

Marley gently squeezes her twins hand, "Hades is mine, Mal, and Jasper's father." The crows gasps," And without him, Audrey would be gone. We are all capable of good and bad, no matter what side the barrier we come from."

Mal and Marley turn towards the brothers, "And that's why I can't just be Queen of Auradon.." Marley clears her throat causing Mal to playfully roll her eyes and the brothers to chuckle lightly, "It's why we can't just be Queen and Princess of Auradon. We have to be Queen and Princess of the Isle too."

Marley and Mal share a brief look, "And it's time that we take the barrier down forever." The sisters say standing strong together, while the brothers smile with pride in their hearts for the girls standing up for what they believe is right.

"We can't do that." Beast argues.

"It's up to Ben Dad. I have to say I agree with Marley and Mal." Luke says as he moves to wrap an arm around Marley's waist.
