A YEAR LATER

Today is the day Marley has been dreaming of since her first date with Luke. It's the day she not only becomes wife to the love of her life but she will officially become a Princess. Granted being the daughter of Hades she was already a Princess but never really felt like one.

"Evie I love you, but how much longer?" Marley whines as she sits with her eyes closed, waiting on her best friend to finish her makeup.

"Almost done. I swear you're almost as bad as your sister." Evie jokes.

Mal playfully rolls her eyes as Uma curls her hair, her crown resting in her lap, "I wasn't that bad." Mal and Ben had gotten married 4 months ago, and Mal was officially the Queen of Auradon.

"Yes you were." All the girls say, Mal just sticks her tongue out making the girls laugh.

"I can't believe today is finally here! How are you feeling Mars? Nervous?" Jane asks as she waits for Uma to do her hair.

Marley hums before lightly shrugging, "I'm just ready to be married to Dumplin. If anything I'm more excited than nervous."

"Just think Jane, this will be you and Carlos in a few months." Uma says, as Jane smiles brightly looking down at the pink diamond sitting on her finger. Carlos had finally asked Jane to marry him and he was so nervous the day he proposed that he actually lost the ring an hour before.

"Yeah, and then next year it will be you and Jay." Mal smirks at Uma in the mirror who playfully rolls her eyes, but has a gentle smile on her face. A teal diamond resting on her finger. It was a shock but shortly after they opened the barrier Jay and Uma got together. And a week after Mal and Ben's wedding Jay proposed.

Another shock was Audrey and Harry. They just clicked the day the barrier came down and have been going strong ever since. With Harry, Audrey didn't feel like she had to be the perfect Princess. And with Audrey, he wasn't afraid to show the soft side that only Marley had known. He is planning to propose next month.

"I'm just glad you and Doug were able to be here Evie. I know you guys only got back a few days ago." Marley says.

"There was no way I was going to miss your wedding. Doug and I had plenty of time on our honeymoon, and we had such a great time." Evie says with a smile, a dark blue diamond on her finger. Evie and Doug got married 2 months ago and had been traveling all over the Kingdoms for their honeymoon.

"Evie!" Marley says getting impatient.

"Relax Mars, all done." Evie says as she bops her nose with the makeup brush.

"Come on, let's get you in the dress." Mal says with a smile.

After helping her sister into the dress, Mal leads Marley over the mirror, "Okay Mars, you can look now."

"Oh my.." Marley says with tears in her eyes.

"I know, but no tears. Wouldn't wanna have to re-do your makeup, would you?" Evie jokes with a smile on her face.

Marley giggles and fans her hand over her eyes to keep herself from crying and ruining her makeup, cause Evie is right she does not wanna have to have Evie re-do it, "I look..."
