"I like this Sunghoon dude," Minju said before drinking her milkshake.

Hayeon shook her head. "Sunoo says the same thing," she laughed softly.

"Maybe you should take our opinions into consideration, then," Minju smiled as Hayeon scoffed.

Hayeon had told Minju everything about Sunghoon and some things about Jeno.

"Jeno better be glad I'm rarely around. I told Jaehyun, and he said that he doesn't mess with Jeno like that; he doesn't like him either," Minju said. "And it's sad to see your parents support your relationship with him just because of some messed-up career," she added, shaking her head.

"But Jeno, he can be nice sometimes," Hayeon reasoned.

Minju laughed at her. "And those times are when he wants sex, right?" she said as Hayeon grew quiet. "Girl, please! He's only with you because of your parents and his parents, and because he gets to sleep with you. He doesn't love you at all, and I'm sorry you're too blind to see that. Leaving him may upset your parents and his, but it'll have such a positive effect on you," Minju said, looking at her.

Hayeon stayed silent, listening to her.

"And hate me if I say this, but that Sunghoon dude deserves you. I think you'll be better off cheating with Sunghoon than being with Jeno. I'll even cover for you," Minju explained.

"I can't cheat—"

"If you're in a relationship where you're getting mentally abused, it's okay," Minju cut her off.

They both sat in silence as Minju's words sank in.

Hayeon got up. "I'll text you, but I have to go," she said, getting up and leaving Minju at the table by herself.

Hayeon walked into Jeno's house, taking off her shoes quietly before going to the living room and sitting on the couch.

She silently watched TV, laughing at some parts of the show that was playing before Jeno came downstairs.

"How was your lunch with Minju? Did you brag about me?" Jeno said, sitting next to her. "Did you lie and tell her I beat you?" He laughed.

"No," Hayeon replied with a sigh.

"I don't believe you," Jeno said, shaking his head.

Hayeon looked at him. "She said you don't love me," she said quietly.

Jeno scoffed. "Don't listen to Minju; I do love you. Do you love me? Because you don't act like it. I'm just looking out for you," Jeno said, brushing her hair with his fingers.

"I do love you."

"Then why would you listen to Sunoo or Minju about our relationship? They just want to bring you down, princess," he said before kissing her neck.

"They're my friends, though," Hayeon said, looking at him as he looked back at her.

He shook his head. "Minju is just Jaehyun's girlfriend, and Sunoo is just a nobody who wants to be in a relationship," he said, kissing her, and she kissed him back.

Jeno bit down on her neck as she whined.

"And those times are when he wants sex, right?" She remembered what Minju had said to her when Hayeon mentioned that Jeno was nice sometimes.

She slowly pushed him off. He looked at her, confused.

"What's wrong?" he questioned, looking at her while taking his shirt off.
