"Mom I'm going shopping," I yelled as i grabbed my keys. I ran to my car, and drive to the nearest mall. I tried on three dresses a loose light blue dress, a pink maxi dress, and a dark red, tight dress. I decided to go with the light blue one.
"That will be $79.99," the lady at the cash register said. I handed her my debit card and paid for the dress.
When I got home it was about 6:00. I put my new dress away and got in the shower. I did my normal routine and dried myself off. I did my hair and makeup. I put my dress on. I looked at myself in the mirror and I could stop smiling.
*knock*
"YES," I yelled.
"ITS CHUCK CAN I COME IN," my brother Chuck yelled through my door.
"YES," I responded. He walked through my door and said "Wow little sis you look really good," he said and came and hugged me. "You're so old!" He said.
"Yeah yeah, Luke should be here soon," I said.
"So you both ARE dating," he said.
"Idk, he just asked me out on a date, not to be his girlfriend," I said and shrugged.
*ding*
"Ohh that must be him," I said and I ran out of my room, down my stairs and to the door.
