"Lukeeeee," I whined as he got up to get some more pizza.
"Yes," he asked.
"Can you get me some pizza too," I asked smiling.
"Yeah yeah, whatever," he said grabbing a whole box and sitting down next to me. I felt my phone start buzzing on my pocket. It was the hospital.
"I umm have to take this," I said standing up and walking to the back of the room.
"Hello," I said when I answered.
"Hi is this Kylie," a man on the other line said.
"Yes." I said nervous.
"We are sorry to say, your mom has been in a car crash and it doesn't look good, could you please come to the hospital as soon as possible," the man asked.
"Yes I can," I said hanging up. I fell to the ground and started sobbing.
"Kylie," I heard Luke said. I looked up. He ran over to me and kissed my cheek.
"What's wrong baby girl," Luke said caressing my cheek.
"They took her, just like my dad, Luke I think my mom is dead," I said hugging him and sobbing into his shoulder.
"Can you take me to the hospital," I asked looking into his beautiful blue eyes.
"Yes of course," he said picking me up bridal style and walking me to the stairs.
"Luke you don't have to carry me," I said looking up at him, wiping tears away from my eyes.
"But I want to," he said tightening his grip on me.
"Boys just stay here, don't break anything," Luke said carrying me up the stairs. At the moment I realized, even if my mom was gone, I would have Luke. Luke put me in the passenger seat of his car and bucked me in.
"I can buckle myself, you know," I said raising one eyebrow.
"Sorry, I just want you to be okay," he said kissing my forehead, and closing the door. He got in the car and started driving.
