I haven't had wifi within that period so that's why I haven't been active.. Anywaysss I hope you like this chapter. Keep up the voting and comments I love reading them all and replying! Also if anybody would like to make me a new cover for the book or banners I would love to see them! Just comment and I'll give you my email :))

*Luke's P.O.V.*

"Luke!!" Small hands are pressed against my shoulders, jolting me from my unpleasant slumber.

Her voice is a whisper, but you could tell she was trying to yell at me quietly. If that even makes sense.

My shoulder starts to throb where her hands are shaking me. This girl may be small but she's surprisingly strong. Ouch.

I groan and sit up, finally opening my eyes and blinking the sleep away.

It doesn't even look like the sun is up yet, maybe a little bit before because light is coming from the horizon.

I stare at her waiting for her to say something. From what I can make out, fear is inside her golden eyes.

"Luke," she glances at me then looks around shakily before continuing. "Koda's gone. I heard him growl then sprint off."

She's on the verge of tears because a dog is being, well, a dog. He probably smelt a rabbit and ran after it.

"Come on, Ari. Don't be scared, he's probably just exploring." I rub her arm trying to comfort her.

"Um did you not see Koda with Trey? He worships that guy and never leaves his side. Why would he go now? And for all reasons to chase a bunny?" The sun isn't even up and she's being difficult.

"Fine. We'll look for the dog." I sigh and pull myself to my feet, helping her up after.

"I didn't say we had to look for him..." She mumbles and crosses her arms.

"Yeah, but you were thinking it." I smirk and make sure my knife is still on my belt, along with the gun.

The sun is coming up now, I can barely seen the colors over the horizon, but it's getting brighter every minute.

Our fire has gone out a while ago from the looks of it, but it's still smoking. Cass and Beck are sleeping peacefully sitting up against a large fallen tree. His arm was around her shoulder and even though she was sleeping, Cass's lips curled into the smallest smile.

We step carefully out of the circle of sleeping people, trying not to wake anyone up. They deserve to sleep in. When they found us, they looked like they hadn't slept in days.

Before we could get more than ten feet away, however, a deep voice stops us in our tracks.

"Trying to run away are we?" Trey is sitting up, looking at us with curiosity.

"No we've become quite fond of you guys." Aria replies before I even get the chance to open my mouth.

"Then what are you two doing up at this ungodly hour?" He half-laughs and relaxes a bit, resting his head on his backpack.

"Your dog decided it was a good idea to chase a rabbit into the forest." I reply sarcastically.

"Koda? He's never ran off before. That's strange." He furrows his eyebrows and looks around.

"I'm coming with." He tells us as he reaches for his jacket on the forest floor beside him.

I'm kind of glad he's coming, at least we know when we find Koda the dog will actually listen to us. He may have listened to Aria, he has a liking towards that girl. I can see why, she's one of the nicest people I've ever met.
