When aristocratic Eddie inherits the family estate, he discovers that it's home to an enormous weed empire - and its proprietors aren't going anywhere.
Will he continue his father's business or will he leave. How would his family react, will he be...
The tension in the room was suffocating, the sharp crack of the gunshot still ringing in the air. Freddy stood near the sofa, holding the gun, his anger and frustration written all over his face. His breath was shallow, eyes darting from Tommy, who now lay on the ground, to Eddie and Mary, who stood frozen by the door.
Mary's eyes were wide in disbelief as she took in the scene, her heart racing with a mix of anger and panic. She was completely still, yet the air around her seemed to vibrate with the shock of what had just transpired.
"What the actual fuck?" Mary finally managed to break the silence, her voice cutting through the stillness like a blade. "Do you have any idea how bad this is?"
Eddie stood tall behind his desk, his jaw set but his eyes filled with a mix of frustration and resignation. He let out a soft sigh before answering her, his tone even, though clearly strained. "I think I have some idea, yeah."
Mary threw her hands up in the air, the exasperation in her eyes matching the disbelief in her voice. "I leave you alone for a few hours and someone is already dead." She glanced toward Tommy's lifeless body, the blood on the floor a stark contrast to the pristine surroundings.
The room fell into a heavy silence, everyone processing the gravity of the situation in their own way.
Susie, ever composed and unfazed, broke the silence. She looked over at Mary, her voice calm and calculated. "I can help get rid of the body. If that's something you wanted me to do."
Her words, as blunt as they were, didn't seem to phase anyone. Eddie turned his attention toward Jethro, still counting the money at the desk with his headphones firmly in place, oblivious to the conversation unfolding around him.
"What about him?" Eddie asked, his gaze now on Jethro, who hadn't yet acknowledged the chaos that had erupted.
Susie raised an eyebrow and glanced over at Jethro, who was completely absorbed in his task. "Who?" she replied casually.
"Mr. OCD counting the money," Eddie pointed out, his voice dry as he gestured toward Jethro.
All eyes turned to Jethro, who remained blissfully unaware of the situation. He continued to count, his headphones blocking out everything else.
Susie, unfazed by the tension, shrugged slightly. "I can help you deal with him too."
Eddie and Mary spoke in unison, their voices cutting through the conversation. "We're not gonna kill him."
