Chapter 9

Clary POV:

I'm awoken by the bright summer sun beaming down on me. There are strong muscular arms wrapped around my torso. I turn around slightly, careful not to wake my bed invader and see that it's only my boyfriend, Alec. Yes boyfriend. After that day of kissing in the bathroom he took me on a date and asked me to be his girlfriend. That was maybe a month or so ago already. So far there has been no more incidents with Jace which I'm thankful for. We only recieve a few glares here and there.

At my slight movement, Alec begins to stir in his slumber only to bury his head into the crook of my neck. I sigh in content when the warm exhale of his breath and his growing stubble rubbing along my neck.

"Alec?" I whisper. He groans in turn and holds me closer to his body. "As much as I love this, babe, you gotta let me go. I want to make breakfast before Izzy makes it first."

"We can just eat out. Stay in bed with me today, Clary? Please?" He looks at me with his sleepy puppy eyes.

"Don't." I say with warning.

"Don't what Clare Bear?" He makes his puppy eyes widen in "confusion".

"Those eyes! You're puppy dog eyes. They're too adorable for you and you know I cant say no to them!" I whine

"Then don't say no and stay in bed wih me."

I sigh in defeat and snuggle closer into his warmth. It may be summer but its was cold as hell in the institute.  They make sure the AC its on full blast during the summer.

"I'm still hungry though." I pout

Alec then does something really unexpected. He pulls out some sort of blue squishy thing and rips a piece off. He then whispers something and throws it at the bed. Out of the blue a whole breakfast meal appears on the bed in front of my. My eyes widen in exitement and grab my tray. I look at it as if I was a small child on Christmas. Alec and I then devoured out meals while having some small talk. Not even a millisecond after we finish eating, it all disappears just as it appeared.

"Woah! How did you do that?!"

"Magnus. Since we're friends again he gave me this because he knkws you're always hungry. I still don't get how you can eat so much and still be so small and skinny."

"Well I stay skinny because of all our training and demon hunting. As for the small part I'm not that small. I'm still over five feet tall." I say proudly

"How much taller than five feet Clare? The average height for an American girl like you is 5'4" you know." Alec says smugly. My cheecks burn bright red because I'm only 5'1".

"Shut up..."I mumble looking down.

Alec then places his thunb and pointer finger on my chin making me lift me head up.

"Don't look down. You're too pretty to not show you're face. You might be a midget compared to me, but you're my midget. You hear me?" He says firmly

"Well if I'm you're midget you'll be my matching giant right?" I smile shyly.

Alec smiles back before softly placing his lips unto my own while his thumb caresses my left cheek. My mouth molds with his as they move in sync. I can't contain the fireworks that explode in my stomach with every  touch, kiss, smile. With Jace I felt bitterflies. I thought I knew what it felt to be alive with him. But Alec has made me feel more alive then I've ever felt before.

The kiss deepens as Alec runs his tongue over my lower lip. I hold in a moan and deny entrance for him. Alec tries again but is denied once more. He groans in frustration and flips me on my back so that he's on top. He crashes his lips onto my own and I gasp at how dominant he's being. Of course I've experienced a more dominant kissing Alec, but it always shocks me as he is fairly timid in the public eye. Alec uses my submission to an advantage and slides his tongue into my mouth.

We play tonsil tennis for a bit until I feel deprivation of oxegen and break away. Alec wastes no time at all as he leaves peppered kisses along my jaw and neck. I squirm beneath him as he reches the sweet spot along my collarbone. He lingers ther for a few moments leaving a small open mouth kiss and sucking lighly leaving a mark. As Alec finishes marking me as his own he leaves on small kiss to aid the subtle aching sensation.

Alec lies down next to me and gives me a peck on the nose.

He smiles cheekily and says,"I almost forgot. Goodmorning sunshine."

I lean up to reach his face and gi e him a chaste kiss,"Goodmorning." I then bring myself closer to his body with my hands on his chest. Alec wraps an arm around my petite abdomen with his other resting above my head.
