Chapter 4

Clary POV

It's now been a full month since Jace's outburst. It's also been a full month since the break up. Me and Alec has now become closer than ever before. Almost as close as Simon now.

I can remember precisely how that day went.

FLASHBACK

Me and Alec were in my bedroom. I had finally stopped crying over the warning he had said. Then out of the blue Alec asked a question that, at the moment, I didn't know would light up my day.

"Hey, Clary? Do you want to play a game?" (No Saw reference intended)

"Sure." I replied with a raspy voice. "What game?"

Alec replied,"Well. Since we are probably gonna be spending more time together.." I then raised my left eybrow at him.

Alec continued and stuttered out," I-I I mean i-if y-ou ok with that. W-we can always just uh, ya know. Uh." I giggled at his awkwardness

"No your right," I replied. he let out a sigh of relief. "Ok. i guess we could play 20 questions. You start."

" So, uh let's start simple with what's your favorite color?''

"Easy. Green. And you?"

"A royal blue type of color." Alec replied.

We continued playing for a bit more and I found out what his favorite book and mundie song was. I also found out other things abou him and him me. I had fun. After we played we just hung out ate some pizza and watched movies. WE were enjoying our time but little did we know, was Jace was olanning something. Something that coud destroy maim badly or even kill one of us.
