Rain looks at his phone.
P' SAIFAH calling.
He picked it.
"Hello p' I am ready na. I'm coming." He said.
"Then I'll wait. Be quick." P' Saifah said.
"Uhm" Rain responded and put the phone off.
He placed his phone in his pocket.
Grabbed his school bag.
Checked his things.
Keys.
Wallet.
His assignments
Run to the door then lock.
Run down the stairs.
"Careful. Be quick but no accidents please." Saifah said.
Rain just smiled and put on his shows.
"Ready p'." He said.
They walked outside. Rain locked the door while Saifah get in the car. Rain followed.
"Sure you got everything?" Saifah asked.
"I got it all p." Rain said.
"P'.. " Rain hesitants to continue.
"Don't ask me again. Cause I won't." Saifah said.
"P' I really feel like I am a burden to You na. Since p' Phayu went to Australia. You always being me to school. I can drive. And I am not an elementary." Rain said.
"Rain, I miss my twin and somehow it eases me seeing you." Saifah teased Rain.
Rain sighed.
"You're not a burden little brother." Saifah said.
"And this afternoon, text P' Auon when you're done with your study. He will come pick you up." Saifah continued.
"See.... It's not only you i am bothering... I'll talk to p' Phayu about this na." Rain said.
"Suit yourself" Saifah said confidently. Because he knows. Phayu won't let him go home alone.
Again Rain sighed.
He looked outside.
It's been a week he is in junior year. And their batch is the leading hazers. But he declined to be part of the hazing.
And been a week since Phayu went to Australia.
Rain missed Phayu.
But somehow it eases the distance every face time calls.
Rain sighed. The clouds are giving signs. It's gonna rain again.
"P' ...p' Auon can pick me up at 6 pm. Or later na." Rain said.
Saifah smirked.
"Rain.. we care for You na" Saifah said.
"You are not a burden in a family remember that." He added.
Rain looked at P' Saifah.
He smiled.
"I am glad p." Rain said.
The car stopped.
"Have a good day Nong." Saifah said.
"Thanks p'." Rain said.
He got down from the car.
Saifah then drove off.
Rain sighed.
"Rain!"
"Rain!" His block mate shouts, calling him.
He looks at the direction the call comes from.
It's Ter.
"Rain. Please we need more people." He said catching his breath.
Rain looked at him bored.
