Secrets Revealed

 After being taken from his room by Kane and Show, Dean talked shit to them and fought them the entire way to the living room, where Hunter and Stephanie sat waiting.

 "Thanks for the escort boys, I'll call you when I'm ready to return to my room!" Dean said smirking, as he angrily pulled himself out of their grip, and the two giants left them alone.

 "Why do you have to make everything so difficult?" Hunter asked, as Dean sat down.

 "Why the hell should I make anything easy for you? You kidnap me and make the only people I care about think I'm dead, and you think I should be happy?" Dean answered angrily.

 "Dean, we wanted to talk to you tonight about something important." Stephanie said, as she got up and sat beside him. "We...I think it's time you know the truth about us." She continued gently, as she took his hand, he pulled away angrily.

 "What you two really undercover cops or something?" Dean asked sarcastically.

 "Or something!" Hunter replied.

 "What the hell is going on?" Dean demanded.

 "Dean, there's no other way to tell you this, except bluntly." Stephanie continued.

 "Just tell me dammit!" Dean said beginning to get worried.

 "Dean, you weren't brought into The Authority by accident, we were looking for you...we had been for a very long time." She said.

 "For me? Why?" Dean asked confused.

 "We were looking for you because we're family." She answered.

 "Of course we are, through The Authority." Dean said still confused.

 "No Dean, I mean you and I are family...by blood!" She explained.

 "Is...is this some kind of sick joke?" Dean demanded upset. "Another way to screw with me huh? Is that it?"

 "No Dean, it's no joke! We're really brother and sister." She reassured him.

 "How?"

 "Years ago, my...our dad travelled a lot for business and he came to town and met your mother, who worked at a small diner. They hit it off and even though he was a married man with a five year old daughter he began an affair with your mother. He was with her a year before she got pregnant with you, as soon as she told him; like the coward he was, he denied the baby and left her. He had no contact with her again, and my mother and I had no idea you existed! It wasn't until you would have been 14 at the time, and two years after my mother passed away, that on his death bed he told me about you. I of course didn't believe him, until he told me where I'd find all the letters and pictures your mother had sent him before she got pregnant. After that I...I began to search for you, and when Hunter and I started The Authority we were able to use our connections to learn about you and discovered you were living on the streets! Hunter tracked you down and the rest is history." She said gently.

 "You're wrong! I'm not your brother!" Dean said refusing to believe it.

 "No Dean, we're not. After you joined the family do you remember when we took you to the Doctor's to fix that cut on your face from that fight you got into?" Hunter asked.

 "Yeah, he took some of my blood too! Said he wanted to make sure I didn't catch anything from the other guy!" Dean answered.

 "That was a lie Dean. We needed to be sure you were my brother and the only way was through a blood test. The results came back positive, you are my younger brother!"

 "If you want to see for yourself we still have the results?" Hunter added.

 "You...you're not shitting me are you?" Dean asked.

 "No." Stephanie answered gently. "Are you okay?"

 "Okay? Am I okay? How the hell can you just drop this on me and expect me to be okay?" Dean answered upset. "No Steph, I'm not okay! In fact I'm as far from okay as I can get!"

 "Dean, we didn't tell you this to hurt you. We just wanted you to know the truth finally." Stephanie said gently.

 "I...I need to be alone right now!" Dean said, as he got up and quickly left the room.

**Meanwhile**:

 Days after Dean's death, Paige sat on the balcony of the hotel wearing one of Dean's shirts, it was her way of being close to him. Dean's death had been hard on all three of them, each one struggled to find a way to live without him. The last couple of days though Paige began to feel like something seemed off about the whole thing. The more she thought about it, the more nothing made any sense! They had been refused when they had asked to see Dean, and a week later there was still no word from the hospital about his body being released! Even the Doctor seemed strange, his story seemed to rehearsed, as if he'd been expecting them, not to mention no one questioned their lie about being told of his accident! There were just too many things that didn't add up! She needed to talk to the guys and convince them that things weren't what they seemed! She decided to talk to Seth first, Roman had just started to come back to them and she didn't want to say or do anything that would hurt him anymore than he already was!
