*Flashback - 1797*
Charlie's POV
"Nik," I mumble, "Im going to go see my family in France, alright."
Silence is the only reply from Nik, so I say "Nik? I'm leaving now if you want to say goodbye. I'm only going to be gone 3 days."
Once again silence from Nik's side
"Bye Nik, I'll be back soon" I say as I leave.
Once back I use a locator spell to find him but I found nothing, so I decided I would go searching.
*Flashback - 1800*
Dear Diary,
I have finally given up searching as it is obvious that he does not want to be found. Apparently he must not love me anymore.
* Present Day *
Charlie's POV
"Really Love, you thought I didn't love you? I thought you didn't love me, the way you said "I'm leaving now if you want to say goodbye", made me feel as if you were leaving me and never coming back!" Nik said coldly.
"If this is a way of making me feel guilty and sorry for you, it's not working!" I reply harshly.
"Fine, in that case I'll do it the hard way. Graham bring them in!" Yells Nik just as harshly.
Guess who he brings in, Marilyn, my sister, Alex, my brother and our daughter, Rosie.
"Now Charlotte, come with me or these 3 die!" Nik tells me icily.
"Why would you do this to my youngest sister Nik? I'll only come if you release them first" I reply sadly.
"I'll release them first, then you will come to me, deal?" says Nik politely.
At the same time I say "Fine" everyone yells "No! You can't go with that heartless monster!"
Nik ignores everyone else except for me and says "On the count of 3 you run to me and I'll tell Graham to let them go. 1,2,3, Now!"
As I run to him I see Graham pull out my youngest sisters heart but release my other siblings. "No!" I yell as I change my course and catch Rosie before she hits the ground. "No! I did everything you asked. Why, why did you do that you sick, cruel, heartless monster?" I scream in total agony.
"You haven't even seen cruel and heartless yet!" yells Nik coldly and harshly.
All of a sudden I scream in total agony "Make it stop!"
Then my brother, Alex, says "You can make it stop, just turn it off"
"No! I can't turn it off. You know what happened last time! The 'Masked Killer' that murdered 3 large villages. That Was Me!" I scream in his face.
"Don't make me get Marilyn" Alex threatened.
I beg "Don't make me turn it off. Please! You can't give Nik what he wants. He wants to see me snap."
Alex calls Marilyn over. "Char, just turn it off and all the pain and guilt will go away," Marilyn compels me.
My face goes expressionless. I slowly stand, move over to Damon's alcohol cabinet and grab a shot of vodka, then sit on the couch and drink my drink.
Stefan then says sympathetically "Shes turned off her emotions"
